I will say as someone whose parents immigrated from China and knows how authoritarian countries work, anyone who justify this by appealing to authority "Well they are impeding officers" is basically parroting what all authoritarian leaders want their people to think. Which is that when you see an authority figure, your first instinct should just be to drop your head and either pretend nothing is happening or assume they are doing the right thing. Once that is ingrained in the populace's minds, then even a small group of people can control a huge mass of population.

Even though state investigators “were not able to do really any work at the scene once we had access,”he said, they had been talking to witnesses and seeking videos. this is simply inexcusable…this weakness has got to stop What do you mean denied access to a murder scene? They aren't. They are in the road away from ICE agents. Agents approach him. His only movements are to help the woman assaulted by ICE agents. They approached him. Even while he was being pepper sprayed, he only focused on helping the woman. It makes sense because he was an ICU nurse worked helping veterans for the VA hospital. They then took his gun away before the shooting and shot him. Since then they have interfered in execution of a legal warrant. ICE is interfering with legal law enforcement. If you are consistent you would want the local authorities to shoot ICE agents multiple times and then to have no investigation into the shooting. Even the NRA is pushing back against the administration...
