The assholes actually missed a goaltend on a Maxey layup that would have iced the game for the Sixers.

This loss was on Ime for his **** rotations. Sengun was trash and KD shat the bed down the stretch as everyone just deferred to him, stood around and watched him waste clock to get a bad shot.

For once it wasn't the whistlers that ****ed us over.

Durant had 8 turnovers. Sengun was 2-7 at the free throw line. None of that is on Ime and I don’t like Ime. Durant’s lazy passing is killing us and he and Sengun are taking way too long making there move. They need to make the defense commit way sooner in the shot clock. We played really good team ball for most of the game, but down the stretch back to very slow moving ISO’s. We should have won this game in regulation. Either Amen or Reed need to be initiating down the stretch and using Durant as a safety valve. Maybe they’ll figure it out sometime before the playoffs.

    The coaching was nonexistent.

Once we got a few early baskets from some cross matchups, we coasted downhill most of the night. If we had made any FTs (we missed 12), the Rockets probably would have recovered and held on to their lead. That, combined with Durant's shotmaking, was probably enough to eke by the finish line. Our identity at this point is what's the least amount of energy, effort, shooting, ball/player movement that can cobble together to get a win?

But the D had no answers once Maxey got in sync, and we didn't do anything out of the ordinary to even try to stop him. The broader defensive game plan was simple: Cross matchups to be quicker against Embiid. Tari can stay in front of Maxey. Give me a break! He is a PF chasing one of the quickest guards in the league. At least we didn't play zone to try to save steps.

(Sheppard had another great run and vanished, only to be benched in crunch time and overtime.)

Alpi had zero lift tonight. It was as if that Spurs game took it out of him.

I do think it’s time for Amen and Reed to spend most of their time on the court together. In order for that to happen we have to trade for another guard that can handle the ball. Amen was the pg most of his time on the court and was really good at it. He had 9 assists to 1 turnover. This has been trending for a while now. Reed was assisted on most of his buckets, which is a good thing. When they were both in the game the ball was moving. Reed should have been playing in overtime, but Ime wanted to put it in Durant’s hands, which is the same mistake we have made time and time again. Durant does not handle the double teams well down the stretch and should be playing off ball. Capella was actually the better center tonight for the Rockets.

Its not him Ime just got his 6 yr extension and got a lot more power than Stone. The coach extension is usually an owner decision (See Denver)

You think Stone wanted to overpay FVV? Prob brokered by Udoka.

This dude needs to stop shooting 3s, he ain't Stephen Curry, or Kevin Durant. Rockets will watch tape and see VJ (a PG) outrebounded him to score in OT. This 6'10 plays like a SG. Christian Wood as Rockets is outplaying #10

Ime is supposed to be this bad a$$ disciplinarian who demands accountability? How about if you miss 2 free throws in a row, you get pulled during the next timeout?

Mostly on Durant and Sengun for turning the ball over and hogging the ball down the stretch. On Ime for taking Reed out, when he and Amen were cooking. Their synergy is now to the point that they need to be our most pre-dominant backcourt. If that means starting Reed then do it. DFS is looking better, so go ahead and trade Tari, Adam’s, and a frp for a guard with handles and a decent outside shot i.e. Monk, Ayo, Nembhard, but most likely Alvarez for matching salaries and one of our own future picks.

I remember one play where Reed gambled and took a while to get back to his matchup, and thought that Ime wouldn't like that. Sixers didn't even score but Ime has to give out his punishment.

Meanwhile Jabroni can just go out there and shoot 1-10 from 3 and turn the ball over at critical points of the game and Ime still plays him as many minutes as possible.

The lack of consistency for Ime's discipline is maddening and he needs to be reined in. Absolute dickwad of a coach
