We'll see. Funny how y'all didn't make these statements after the Spurs game, or the Timberwolves game. Yet the moment we lose to a good team, you're claiming I have "amnesia." Sure, that's it.
It's REALLY hard to tell temperament over text so apologies if I'm off base, but when I read your reply to Reeko, it seemed a bit dramatic and emotional at first glance.
You answered your own question... Because Ime stuck with what worked the spurs game, it was impossible when Shepperd is playing like Curry on offense and Kawhi on defense (quote from spurs broadcast) This happens literally every other game, most games actually. You citing an exception doesn't help make your point.
Oh because I don't post threads that much that makes it reactionary? I was not informed that there was a rule against posting threads rarely especially when I have a life outside this forum. Don't get me wrong, nothing about my post is reactionary because I keep calling out stuff in game threads when **** don't work and properly give the team props when they're doing well. Your argument doesn't make sense
Perhaps that was, if only because I'm disappointed that Reeko, one of the best posters of this site, is resorting to histrionics.
WE CHOKED A 9 POINT LEAD AFTER COMING BACK. WE HAVE CHOKED 5 ****ING LEADS THIS SEASON. HOW MANY MORE DO YOU WANT.
I don't know about done. They'll make the playoffs and can make the 2nd round depending on the matchup... Can't see them beating Denver or OKC though this year that is for certain. Just enjoy the competitive games I guess, just understand a finals trip is highly unlikely unless one of our young players just suddenly breaks out mid-season or something or a major injury taking out OKC or Denver. We can beat the other West teams in close series too. I think SAS would probably be a coinflip in a 7 game series this year, same with Minny. We probably beat the Lakers in 5 or 6, the other teams in the West we have no business losing to... But 2nd round exit at best. Just have that realistic expectation and hope the team makes better moves to improve upon that for next season. I guess it just depends on your definition of done. They are a competitive playoff team in the west, not a legit contender, that's the reality of the team we have.
You ****ing ime bag lickers are just shameless pieces of ****. IM SICK OF WATCHING THIS POOR BASKTEBALL.
Relative to expectation Sengun is underwhelming. Amen barely passed the hype test. Tari has flashes but mostly the Tari we know. Jabroni. lol I have nothing to say, you know what I’m saying? The only interesting potential breakout player is not being played properly.
Suns are gonna have a better record than us tomorrow LOL and you’re getting on our case for whining? We should be egging toyota center and throwing food at the players when they come back because they’ve embrasssd this city.
anyways going back to the main point of this thread. Yeah you nailed it. 2nd round optimistically but at this rate we might not make it to that point so hopefully we make the proper changes soon
Nothing reactionary in this post. Game after game, we play similarly, win or lose. We don't play Reed enough, on a season when FVV is out. We are not even at a stage to discuss how he should be used. We are just praying that he will see enough playing time. Force feeding Sengun and KD isos from the top of the key are not winning basketball, even with KD's efficiency. Too many turnovers, too predictable offense. We literally have no solution to any problem on the court other than putting Reed in. And even in games that it works, it just stops at some point for no reason. We are so easy to stop at clutch time. We don't have a play to run as a team, and we don't have good iso players, and we don't play the only good shooter in the team, who can actually dribble as well. so many non-passers, non-dribblers, non-decision-makers in this team, all for the sake of defensive hustle. The only positive thing today was the team had more hustle and team energy. But this won't get us anywhere with this coaching. Yes, we'll win games in regular season, probably 50ish, but there is no way we can compete in the playoffs.
Not winning jack ish with Udoka that's for sure...shoulda let him go to NY and suffer their media wrath.
Having passion for the game is actually what makes sports great, but for sure not after every road game.
