    Thao and his family do not know, nor have ever met, the two registered sexual offenders identified by ICE,

    AP researched the sexaul offender registry in St. Paul, MN; within Thao's zip code, the closest registered offender lives 2 blocks away

    Public records indicate both have felony criminal histories but neither of them is listed in the MN sex offender registry,
    despite ICE describing them as sex offenders.​

    ICE has gone beyond any level of presumed trust. They should have to verify everything. That's true, not just because of their pattern of dishonesty, but because their dishonesty tries to excuse further abuses, cruelty, and assault on our rights.
