Rockets dont have multiple stars and shooters???

KD and Sengun arent stars? Booker WAS an all star what about KD and Sengun? They are both current all stars but according to you they are subpar players?

Lots of coaches can coach this team better since they know how to run an offense and they make good rotations.

30 yr old Dillon Brooks is so young you and Stephen_A go together like 2 peas in a pod. What better future are you even saying? DBrook is old and he is just a role player. He wouldnt even be here as part of the future.

Right but your assumption is that I would have not gotten KD AND KEPT THE TEAM THE WAY IT WAS. So you can put up all the D brooks and Jalen green off the bench on his first game back stats if you want lol It doesnt matter because its not part of why I didnt and dont want KD here. Critical thinking alludes you. You are a simple man. Again celebrate his shooting percentage and our little playoff exit in exchange for a better future you ****ing slow idiot.

Oh wait are you the GM? You can get us Cade Cunningham for DBrooks or what? STFU clown.

Forget about Critical thinking, you dont even think, period. Did your gold fish brain forget we got 1st round exit last year without KD???? Facts already proved you wrong.

Who the ****ing hell are you again? You are just a netizen Fertita will not hire delulu like you.

Mr Wannabe GM totally gonna get us a franchise player for the future instead of KD, it worked in 2K with trade override on. Stfu.

Now youre pretending like you dont ever have opinions or suggestions on the direction of the team. Like its not the point of even being on here. Youre such a ****ing loser. Youve lost this.

I am not pretending I have a magical way to build for the future and my way is better than Kevin freaking Durant. You are the loser not me.

We can all use the power of hindsight and say this and that but thats just not realistic and shouldnt be used to criticize players who are playing well in REALITY.

You have always been wrong since day 1 you should be the one to go away.

Even 2 yrs ago you were pretty wrong then and wrong again now. Talk about a forever self own.

Man, so much depends upon who and what picks they are willing to move.

You have to assume that at least Durant, Sengun, Jabari (poison pill), and Amen are untouchable and that Reed & Adams are not far from it. If they moved any of those players I'd be shocked.

DFS is 12.7m of dead weight.

    Capela is 6.7m

Tari is 5.75m I doubt they want to move him but it does somewhat make sense.

You have another $1,255,588 between the apron - But remember if you send out two players, you need to either bring two back or Return one sign and one within 10 days to be at 14 roster spots.

Assume FVV holds his no trade clause.

Everyone else makes the minimum and putting any of them in a deal doesn't really do you any good cap wise. So, unless a team requires one of Tate, Green, Okogie, Holiday or Green they'll stay.

Let's start by setting the baseline - the most they can bring back is in the neighborhood of 19.4. with Capela and DFS.
If it's Tari and DFS that comes down to 18.45.

Now look at the list of contracts at guard - 2025 Guard Cap Hit Rankings

Nembhard at $18,102,000 is probably the only guy I'd pull the trigger on in the higher salary range.

Maybe Austin Reaves at $13,937,574 but would the Lakers really let him go? Probably not.

I don't have much interest in Dennis Schröder and his 14m and 3 years guaranteed.

    Davion Mitchell?

    TY Jerome?

    Trey Jones?

    Ayo Dosunmu?

I would say Grimes but without bird rights, I'd be hesitant to0l spend assets on him.

I wouldn't mind snagging Cason Wallace out of OKC but I doubt they deal with the Rockets.

D'Angelo Russel and Tari are a straight salary swap ..... I'd hate to see Tari in Dallas, Russel has a player option for next year.

Jose Alvarado? Probably comes cheap. Player option for next year.

Go over the list at that link - what do you think?

Whilst I agree Eason currently has a more versatile skillset, I think the org believes Jabari has more room to grow.

He isn't chopped liver. He isn't scoring 15ppg on a team with no other scoring options, so there is something to him. I have my personal concerns, around his mental state.

If you could guarantee me he would have an iron strong mental game in 2 years, I would defend him to the hilt...

Ayo works if you can get him for Okogie + Holiday + Tate and a reasonable amount of draft compensation. You'd have to see him as a long-term piece. I can see him as 6th man for this team.

I've said many times I'd like making a trade for Alvarado if the price is right. But every now and then Reed gives us one of these games where he's the difference-maker and I second-guess whether we even need another small guard.

With Adams out for the season (doubt he even returns for the playoffs at this point), maybe you think about a stretch big. Who fits the bill in that area? Are Brook Lopez and Al Horford totally washed? Bring back Jock? Jay Huff? Bobby Portis?

Ayo makes sense, will anyone agree to take Tate? Okogie and two 2nd round picks, for Alvarado seems somewhat realistic to me.

My blood would absolutely boil if we did a deal for Russell. A low IQ player that occasionally gets hot.

Alvarado for Okogie and 2 seconds. Davion for Okogie and 2 seconds. Unfortunately, Riley may never agree to a trade with the Rockets.

NO, to D'Angelo for Tari. A. Nembhard may require the Nets' 2027 1st round pick plus Tari and Okogie? I will agree to that with reluctance, because I like Tari.
