It makes me sad really. We’re getting left behind in comparison with these other young teams and they’re not going anywhere. The Rockets have been so unlucky in the draft. And it doesn’t help that Ime comes in and all he wants are defensive wing players, and they wonder why we can’t shoot. This team has Ime’s fingerprints all over it.
The way our team is constructed we would be great in 2010, but yeahhh it’s 2026 and nba has changed and we can’t get more than 2 players that can shoot.
Spurs attempted 25 3-point shots while we only attempted 12. Even if Spurs made only 40 percent instead of 50 percent, that's a 15 point deficit here, not to mention the offensive long rebounds you are getting when you shoot 3s. Basically Sengun and KD two man game, they can make KD shoot open 3s every single possession without much effort, even if KD only makes 40 percent of the 3s, we are much better off offensively. Ime's stubbornness to shoot 2s is hard to fathom.
