This is a rare situation where it's not as bad as the score looks. They are scorching hot from 3 (if Fox keeps hitting contested 3s like that, we can't beat them anyway) and had some lucky bounces go their way. Our defense has been solid so far, just need to be a bit more aggressive and make shots.
And that’s a new coach too with just Wemby and fox there as the stars with Harper and castle and vassell behind them

I'm specifically talking about people talking about Reed guarding Fox because he hit 2 tough jumpers over him but yes the team 3 point defense is abysmal. The Spurs are also ridiculously hot
.. it could have been worse .. giving up eight 3s in the first quarter not ideal Only down 11 .. don't over-pursue on defense and they will coop off
The rockets as a team have terrible 3pt defense It happens night in and out, I don't think it has to do with Reed particularly he isn't in the game 90% of the time. It just shows that we are giving so much of our offense up for a failed defensive strategy We don't defend th 3 particularly well because we ourselves don't prioritize it
I feel the Spurs role players are better than any of the current role players the Rox have. I agree with better coaching we would be doing better but I feel role players overall are better.
