I was at both recent games in Portland and saw Fred walking around during the shootarounds. He's still limping noticeably, and looked far away from being able to play. Considering he'd have to heal up AND spend time getting into game shape, I really doubt we'll see him this year even if we go far in the playoffs.

Fred isn’t returning this year. Thinking about it is just how he’s coping.

Based on the interview he recently gave I think it's a done deal he'll make an attempt.

But he probably needs 15-20 games to shake off the rust and build championship quality chemistry. But his timeline is probably middle of the playoffs.

So I think he'll try to come back until Ime realizes he's more of a liability. The injury is just too serious to be hopeful.

If FVV comes back before the playoffs, I have zero doubt Ime will play him close to 40 minutes per game until we are eliminated regardless how he plays.
