Nembhard would be a nice get for this team .... but I struggle to find any reason for Indiana to give him up. Under contract for this year and two more for less than 10% of the tax line. (18.1m,19.5m,20.9m) He's a great fit next to Haliburton and can fill in on ball when Haliburton sits .... The only reason I can see they'd trade him is financial but they have over $13m in space between their current salary total and the 1A - Just don't see much reason for the Pacers to trade him.
Lots of coaches are better than Udoka. Just look at Phoenix Suns roster and our roster. 23 yr old all star is a sub par player? Ok then lets look at PHX then they have zero all stars from last year but why are they only 0.5 behind the Rockets? Its funny you ask what is the standard for rating coaching performance and then claim Kevin Durant, Sengun and Amen are subpar players without any basis.

I asked specifically what is the standard for coaches and who is better and why. Booker was an all star multiple times and olympic gold medalist. That shouldn’t be the only standard for coaching. The suns also have 2 guys shooting lights out in 3s and a balanced roster. Is OKC’s coach better? That team has 2 stars or former stars and vets. What about Denver? Multiple stars and shooters. Spurs? Multiple stars and shooters. Boston? Multiple stars or former stars and shooters. What coach is better? What coach can coach this team better And why?
I never said Udoka has no flaws and shouldn’t have accountability. I asked you specific questions you couldn’t answer. Most people on this site can’t answer these questions of why they think another coach would be better and if you insert them on this team why they would coach better. You and most people on here love to blame the coach instead of looking at roster construction. This roster isn’t as good as the other top teams in the league. Very simple. But you can go ahead and keep blaming on the coach without any factual basis or knowledge
neither Williams or Robinson can score so Tari’s valuation would be different besides robinson played 48 games 2 previous seasons. Williams 26. Tari played 79 games. The number of games missed aren’t the same. Many Rockets fans are overstating Tari’s injury history. Injuries happen. Tari hasn’t even had any significant injuries this year.
It’s word play…..Stone says this every year and then we get some guy we never heard of at the 2 pm trade deadline who will be cut in a few weeks. We’ll trade Davison or Holiday for some sub-par player and say we were “close” to a big trade but it fell apart.

Yep and he is not shooting the 3 that well this year, but I do like his defense and he was clutch last year.
Stephen A is a reasonable debater. No use debating with people that agree with you. As far as Udoka is concerned, he is right that there is no glaringly obvious replacement for him available. My point is that you never know when a better coach may be available and I sure wouldn’t gut the team to try and win now with him as a coach. Better to try and enhance the roster with younger stars, regroup and go for it again when we can get a better coach. With hindsight, it is obvious to me that the Durant trade was a mistake. If we had to trade Jalen it should have been for a frp, which contrary to what most people believe we would have gotten for him. Stephen A rarely starts the name calling. No need to hate on a poster that lays out his argument reasonably and doesn’t go to the “you are a moron” card that others regularly go to when disagreed with.
