Maloney Rookie year....... Reed this year
    fg% .441........................... .443
    3pt% .404........................... .410
    ft .763........................... .773
    efg .566........................... .561

miles better? I certainly hope so... Maloneys best year was his first - and it was downhill from there....

You can call me names... but the numbers are what they are....

I like Reed... and if yall werent so over the top in love with him and constantly making excuses... i wouldnt have sh*t to say....

Posting a PPG and FG% isn’t going to help your argument not to mention the importance of context with a sample size of 1-2 years, —-so all of these players were Matt Maloney in their rookie or sophomore season, hell maybe worse.

    Curry
    Nash
    Billups
    Harden
    Lowry

And that’s just to name a few. It’s great that every team had Sheppard in similar draft position to Maloney too. You’re so much smarter than all the teams in the league and their FO.

it has nothing to do with hurting your feelings and calling you names, you are inherently intellectually dishonest with the sole purpose or playing defense for Udoka on here. Convincing you of anything isn’t a victory, so it’s best not to waste time engaging. You’re exposing yourself

Like i keep telling u man... I like Reed... im just not sold yet. ive seen it before (like with Maloney).... Now when folks got the opinion that Reed has potential and could grow into a solid starter - i agree! When follks want to insist he's a 'generational shooter' and hes being sabotaged by the coach... we're gonna disagree...

The generational tag has been thrown around too often.

Some call Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson generational before they even hit the NBA floor on social media.

To add to that I would call Kon Knueppel almost generational in best rookie efficiency among quite a few rookie generations.

and odds are that if he didnt get the rebound then the man he's covering did - and both of them are under the basket... so hes got HIS defensive assignment covered... I dont think the other center is getting the rebound and then running the court and Adams isnt there to defend him...

now if ur saying that Adams needs to get back to cover the paint bc OTHER guys cant adequately cover THEIR man... well... i guess ur making the case for the fact that we cant afford to have guys on the court that are such a defensive liability... right?

    ;) LOL

A good mate of mine from NZ is hearing Adams is out for the season.

Haven't seen it reported anywhere and the dude is a massive Rockets hater that cannot stand Steve being on our team so take it with a grain of salt and all that

A Grade 3 sprain takes minimum 3 months to recover. So best case scenario is he's back for the first round of the playoffs. More realistically though, he's done for the year unless the Rockets advance deep into the postseason.

Again, I hate to lose Steven as a backup, because he's certainly one of the best in the league. But as a silver lining, I hope this kills the double big. Constructing an offense around offensive rebounds is an a$$ backwards idea.

Emoni Bates was generational... until he wasn't.
