The way he was limping he might be out a couple of months. Glad it's nothing that will require surgery. Hopefully he comes back mid-March so he can get a few weeks before the playoffs to ramp back up. I fully expect our usuals to complain that it was just an ankle sprain, to put some dirt on it like they did Sengun.
Hate that I'm still skeptical. It seemed way worse that an ankle sprain. It looked like it was his knee. I won't breathe a sign of relief until the swelling goes down or they're able to image it.
The MRI for different body parts take different amount of time, might be a quick scan but they need to do a thorough scan FWIW. To exclude a fracture part can be done with an X-ray, but ligaments etc..... He had his surgery on the right knee with the Grizzlies not that long ago, now left leg.....just brutal to have injuries on both legs......
I'm a big fan of his game and don't want him to miss any time. That being said, I'd like to see Ime lean less on the double-big, so I'm interested in seeing how this plays out in the short-term.
Glad it is just a sprain, anxious to see what Capela can do, he is a true rim runner, and I think the offense will be a lot better. He also has the same rebound rate or thereabouts as Adams. Adams should take his time and heal 100% and let's see how the team looks without him. DD
