DeMeco conceded the game with that punt. CJ Stroud ain't the answer. Holds the ball too long, terrible at handling a pass rush, no swag and questionable body language ever since the Tank Dell injury last season. Granted, no Joe Mixon all season and no Nico this game and a porous OL and crap OC have hurt, but QBs that are actually good simply don't make the number of mistakes that Stroud does. Really disappointing end to this season. Super Bowl caliber defense held back by a horrendous offense. Even a mediocre offense that takes care of the ball would've been enough to beat NE by multiple TDs and likely beat Denver next week.
Two wide open receivers deep missed on back to back drives by CJ. Clearly defines what CJ has been today.

DeMeco cost us this game. Plain and Simple. Stroud was not above being benched at the half after all last game's turnovers and all his turnovers in the first half.

Has any NFL team had two what appeared to be franchise quarterbacks disappear into the ether as quickly as the Houston Texans have with DeShaun Watson and CJ Stroud?
