This is why fairweather fans arr the msjority sports forums .. It's hard to 100% believe in these fools , given the years of ineptitude and letdowns dating back to the eary 90s.. I don't blame any home grown H-town sports fan for always being pessimistic when it comes to the Texans... I'll never believe again until they practically win the Super Bowl.. Even getting to one won't get me fired up Do I watch and pay attention? Absolutely! .. But I expected this the moment Sean Payton said Bo Nix was out..
At least Harden would give you enough hope with some of the best regular season basketball you've ever seen combined with great playoff games here and there. CJ is doo-doo water in the regular season and playoffs. That's consistency baby!
Pick 6. Two turnovers in field goal range. Illegal motion that turned 7 into 3. That's 17 points right there and we had 3 other turnovers. The defense didn't deserve this **** show from the offense.
Game... is Hutch ok? or is he looking for sympathy? That looks like a catch for a second (BUF all over again)
DeMeco conceded the game with that punt. CJ Stroud ain't the answer. Holds the ball too long, terrible at handling a pass rush, no swag and questionable body language ever since the Tank Dell injury last season. Granted, no Joe Mixon all season and no Nico this game and a porous OL and crap OC have hurt, but QBs that are actually good simply don't make the number of mistakes that Stroud does. Really disappointing end to this season. Super Bowl caliber defense held back by a horrendous offense. Even a mediocre offense that takes care of the ball would've been enough to beat NE by multiple TDs and likely beat Denver next week.
Two wide open receivers deep missed on back to back drives by CJ. Clearly defines what CJ has been today.
Bum Phillips will remain the only head coach to bring Houston to the AFC Championship Game. Bless him.
DeMeco cost us this game. Plain and Simple. Stroud was not above being benched at the half after all last game's turnovers and all his turnovers in the first half.
Golden opportunity… blown. Why do I even watch? (Aaron Rodgers is a FA. Just saying… Although he might legit die behind this OL.)
