    Cmoak was right, should have drafted WAJ and waited till the next year for Maye or Williams.

    CJ peaked as a rookie.

    Trade him.

    Maye looks like the real deal despite really bad ball security which would have costs them today had our offense been ok.

    Williams is a franchise QB. Needs to shore up that accuracy butbhe doesnt falter when the game is on the line, can run, can make any throw, etc. Do you think the Texans win today with Caleb?

    Texans could have won today with Philip Rivers. The defense was locking the Patriots up all game when they had to actually start on their side of the field. Created multiple TO’s etc.

    I feel so bad for the defense. There’s going to be some really nasty things leaked from the team the next few weeks.

    CJ went from 50 million to a lifetime backup QB in two weeks. I feel bad for him. I don’t think mentally there is recovering from this.

    Do not exercise his option and go with Mills as the starter. Draft a QB and look at making a trade for a temporary QB.

    CJ will be our QB1 next season whether we like it or not. Just gotta hope he takes a major step in his development this off-season. Still “only” 24. Otherwise yea we’ll very likely be looking for a new QB1 in 2027. Can’t believe we’re back here again smh.

    It makes no sense for the Texans to pay ANY QB the max if the offensive line is just putrid.

    Sadly I think you're right.

    2026 he's under contract and 2027 is a team option.

    With no obvious alternative, it feels like we're gonna run it back.

    Amazing to think we could have had a superbowl with even a bad qb.

    If they do that, I’m not going to care about this team because we already know how it’s going to end.

    it’s just wasting a season and losing fans.

    it would be the same thing when they kept Bill O’Brien & Easterbay too long and a lot of fans finally stopped supporting the team.
