Yeah. And I apologize for that because it really was a deep, thought-provoking, nay... profound bit of prose that Jeff did write. And to do what we did to the post is nothing less than disgusting. I'm sorry Jeff. I did not mean to add to the nonsense and derail your post.

    Now where's that bastid's arm?

As a drunk guy with a moustache said the other night at American Bush: "Show me the pie!"

I keep coming back because I'm a rockets fan. Hey wait, maybe I'm a rockets fan because I'm a clutchcity fan. Hmmmm....

Ah, but seriously folks, it's really entertaining sharing opinions/experiences with everyone.

Just last Friday I had the same thoughts about the diversity on this BBS. And we certainly are diverse: ranging in age from probably 12 to 60, just about every race and religion and nationality, conservatives, liberals, greenies, vegetarians and meat lovers, new agers and reincarnationists, evolutionists and creationists, Longhorns and Aggies and Cougars and many others. We all have opinions, some are more strongly expressed than others. I don't always agree with others opinions, as I'm sure many don't agree with mine. But that's the beauty of this BBS. And I hope it never changes.

We're all bound by one common denominator: the Houston Rockets. I've checked the web sites of many of the other NBA teams, and none can compare to Clutch City. LA even suspended their fan forum because those posting just couldn't keep it civil. We might disagree on who should be playing or coaching among ourselves, but rarely do we ever disparage our team, and we sure as hell don't let outsiders try.

    Long live clutchcity.net! Thanks, Clutch!

Differences in individuals is a Godsend. The world would be pretty damn boring if we were all the same.

What brings us together on this website is our passion for Houston Rockets basketball. We may not all agree on what is best for the team, or even on other topics and subjects, but our common link is the Houston Rockets. And the fact that we can all share our opinions and differences in a common forum such as this shows how special the franchise & it's fans really are. Can you imagine a site like this dedicated to the Lakers, for chrissakes???? [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

To tell you the truth, when the ARA (Austin Rocketball Association) convenes for the first time this November, I can't wait to meet TheFreak, Clutch and other Austinites.

But the person I can't wait to meet the most is none other than Brian Kagy.

That tells you right there what I think about our differences, I love 'em.

Instead of calling it ARA, why not ARAss (pronounced "AWR ASS")? Think of the possibilities :

    "ARAss is meeting tonight".
    "ARAss supports the Rockets".
    "ARAss bleeds Rocket Blue!"

    No?

    Ok.

What cracks me up is, if you guys knew how many times I submitted a post and then thought, "Oh ****, that was way overboard!", you'd probably laugh.

You should ask Keeley about our gun control "debate" sometime. Don't ask me how or why we got off on that subject, but suffice it to say that I basically almost ran off a good friend thanks to my attitude.

Sometimes it's easier to distract someone you're debating by pissing them off rather than trying to reason with them.

    Anyway.

I respect the hell out of each of you. Thanks for putting up with me.

Now go out and vote Republican like a good American.

    Right on Kagy!!!

I especially love it how, everyone goes 'here's another stupid post by smeg' and then later on you have people agreeing with you (BK has).

Basically people can agreee on something and disagree on other issues and no harm is done, for example, the gun debate which if that happened in real life probably would have ended in an all in brawl, but basically hear on BBS we can agreee to disagree and no foul is called.

    Smeg,

    I have already read it.
Your usual response to threads I am active in.

Slinging mud with you is pointless and I will let you keep doing "Smeg" humor because you won't be denied and it makes you happy.

Serious Police work makes me happy and I won't be denied either.

Finally, the elusive Brian Kagy appears. I was wondering how long that would take.
