The group of states in the Governors Public Health Alliance continues to grow and now numbers 14, along with Guam. The Alliance will do their best to take over depleted or destroyed CDC functions like tracking outbreaks, bulk-buying vaccines, and issuing their own guidance. My guess is that these states will perform better than others in most metrics over the next decade or so. I also think other bluish states will soon join.
