Sprained ankles dude. People playing basketball as frequent as pro's get sprained ankles of varying degrees monthly. It's a part of the sport. Harden used to snap his ankle every few weeks with how much he drove to the basket, he'd just tie his laces down hard and keep playing.

I think it really depends on the severity and player.

I remember Aaron Brooks looking like a near borderline allstar before a bad ankle sprain that he seemingly never recovered his quickness from.

Sengun playing himself out of an allstar bid, sadly. His defense is not enough to compensate for his abysmal shooting and poor efficiency.

Beside the ft and some defensive lapse. Might be his best game in a while

Haters rushing in during the game to hate on Alpi but at the end he makes them eat ****. Many such cases!

No hating, I watch the Rockets solely because of him. I root for him. He had his good moments last night but he has major warts right now. Continues to turn the ball over at a high rate, particularly because he’s so slow to make his move and teams are timing the help right. His inability to shoot (10-15 footer or 3- pointer) and passing up wide open shots packs the paint and makes most offensive possessions more difficult than they need to be. Also creates more turnovers as he tries to work his way info the paint for 10 seconds.

He has his positives but there are centers and PFs way more balanced than him who, frankly, are better players and more deserving. If he can even elevate his shooting to just mediocre, maybe that changes.

I loved/love Aaron Brooks! I'll never forget his game winning alley-oop catch and lay up.

When Sengun called for the ball on a post up, Goober flew 5ft just from the energy field created by Alpi lifting his arm. The man has supernatural powers.

I don't agree with this at all. Sengun does need to cut down on turnovers, but you are really overstating the issue. He's averaging 3.3 turnovers per game, which while a little high, is lower than several other high profile frontcourt players like Joker and Jalen Johnson. He's been our offensive hub - TOs are going to happen.

Which centers and PFs are "better" than Sengun? If we're talking purely about centers, I'm not taking anyone except Joker before Sengun (and Wemby if you consider him a pure center).

You need better performance from Alpi to be Successfull this season! This Game was not bad but i think he is better! If he want to be an Contender this is not enough thats true but not only Alpi need to be better! All the Team is in a Performance crisis except KD! He is playing very strong right now. Thats really sad, that Tari Eason is always injured! His shooting is really missed!
Jabari needs to change something! Thats not enough what he is playing right now!

Durant played like total sh*t against OKC, so I don’t know about the very strong right now thing. Durant can be part of the solution if played right. He is still one of the best shooters in the league, but the shot mix has to change. Pretty hard for an iso loving coach and an iso loving player. Durant’s 3 pt shooting is being wasted most games and his iso game to take middies totally destroys any hope of spacing for this team. I was in favor of the trade, but now I’m thinking he was just a bad fit. We should be building around Amen and Sengun and that means lots of really good 3 point shooters that can play defense. It’s kind of what they were trying to do with Durant and Reed, but Durant’s middie game and Jabari’s regression has gummed up the works (not to mention the worst offensive coach in the league).

@Hemingway You are right KD was against OKC very bad like almost everyone but KD play in my opinion a good Season. Early season everyone hited the Pointers and no one is consistent! If the Team shoot so bad you cannot win against OKC. Alpi need to play better and create space for his Teammates. He is the Key! If take the Focus to his self and he pass the ball well the Rockets will start play again strong.Imagine Dilon Brooks was in that Team! He is the kind of player what the Rockets need right now...

The team played better earlier in the year when Sengun was the focal point of the offense. Lately it’s been more Durant heavy and that is why we have regressed. Durant turnovers are ridiculously bad and the teams know the spots where he is trying to go and just sag off our non shooters. Yesterday when sengun touched the ball is when we went back on our run. We should be playing that way and swinging to KD for much easier shots. I’m okay with the ISO late in the game when we need a bucket but not just ISO the whole damn game,
