I make no picks on games I'm emotionally invested in. Only hopes.

I wish they were playing at noon today.

Your lack of confidence in calling this one is worrying me. Lol

We're the best team they'll play all year.

Ask me again tomorrow after I've had a few pregame beverages.

I saw a stat where the patriots have not played very many (although I think it may be zero) top 10 defenses by ppg this year so I wanted to see how the Texans did in games where they didn’t play one.

I did this quickly so I could have done some math wrong or messed something up, but I counted 10 games that the Texans had against non-top 10 defenses, and in those games they averaged 27.5 ppg. Those games included Mills playing, so in the games where Stroud played they averaged 28.2 ppg, not including the last colts game since Stroud only played a half (although they had 17 points at the half so it looked like it was going to be a high scoring game).

This year the patriots averaged 28.8 ppg, and that is with a veteran OC while we had a brand new one who had to grow into the role.

This doesn’t mean much except that the Patriots strength seems to be their offense but that might be a factor of their weak schedule. And last week they only scored 16 against the Chargers, who were a top 10 defense.

I’ve already started tailgating via my couch for tomorrow’s game. I hope I can keep it together to actually watch. Go

I'm just thinking of the betting volume with an East Coast team vs a West Coast team like NE vs SF. They make their money on the fringes more than on W-L.

I've now begun couchgating for today's appetizer of football, while watching college hoops (SMU vs Virginia is a fun game)

    Go Bills!
    Go Niners!

Those stats seem incomplete. No mention of how many of these passes resulted in First Downs.

The Texans are ranked 23rd in 3rd down conversion 37.2%. I like the TDs, though. Patriots 3rd down conversion 42.9%

or is that what the 73/116?

The 73/116 is just his comp% on 3rd down, no idea how many of those resulted in a 1D.

I don't know of a good site for NFL split stats like that. I'm sure there's one out there.

Help us out, nerds of the bbs

Probably the biggest difference. In the regular season he had more rushing touchdowns than any of our players. He had 14, Chubbs 3, Marks 2, and Stroud 1.

    He’s trolling.
They don’t want to admit that Stroud is an average athlete while Maye is a legitimate rushing threat

I'm in a very strange position where I love all 4 remaining NFC teams. In fact, they are my favorite teams in the conference. My heart is with the Bears but I don't give them much of a chance.

In the AFC, I'd prefer if the Pats lost (for a lot of reasons) but I don't actively dislike them anymore.
