Does anyone doubt Ime sabotages Reed now?

    Imes protege has entered

let’s counter the worst shooting stretch in NBA history with worse shooting. More capela, more DFS

I don’t know what it is about fans and getting brainwashed by this front office. When Morey was here they were his good little students. Unfortunately we went in the other direction and now Imes army wants a team of Juwan Howard’s and Clint Capelas

I don’t think you guys understand how insane you come off. “Dude enters for head trauma and brain bleed. Team focuses on getting him a vasectomy for baby mama drama”

It’s ridiculous to think Ime is intentionally sabotaging Reed. When he was playing well his minutes were also going up. Does he jerk him in and out of the lineup too much, absolutely, but not to sabotage him. Ime only knows one way of coaching. He may be screwing Reed up, but it’s not intentional.

Yeah, it's not intentional, Ime is just that incompetent.

You guys don't get it. Ime is helping Reed.

When Reed's +/- is at its highest point, he pulls him so that the +/- won't plummet alongside with the inevitable late game collapse. Those who use +/- to show Reed's impact should understand this tactic very well. :D

I don’t think he’s sabotaging Reed. If Reed is allowed to fire away this entire season while continuing to be abysmal on defense and making silly ball handling mistakes, he would at best develop into a player that is viewed as a 6th man streak shooter.

The Rockets have a vested interest in Reed being more than that. He needs to be able to eventually run a team as the point guard and be able to be that front line defensively against another teams lead guard.

If you think he’s ready to be that guy for this team I think you are nuts.

you should look at the initial post in this thread. It was pretty clear yesterday. If you refute the points that were made and prove otherwise let us hear it. Ime is dumb for sure but benching the hottest player in the game when he gets going, going with the non-shooting lineup when we are in a stretch of THE worst shooting % in NBA history while a guy is hitting 80% of his 3s and overall highest +\- is criminal.

Again, it’s better if the team moves on from him. If it’s for a future unprotected 1st I think it’s a no brainer.

At the end of the day we do what is best for the team

it’s like saying I have a group of friends starving in the desert and routinely forget to bring snacks or water but it’s never intentional. There is an extent to which you can use plausible deniability or ignorance

I don’t like you at all or agree with firing Udoka, but you are right about Reed tonight. He was on fire and on any other team would have scored 20+ points. No idea why he played only 15 minutes. Udoka needs to realize that the reason we go in these horrid shooting slumps is because he goes all in and has a 37 year old and 4 non offensive defenders in the game. Most coaches switch them in for a play or two but sometimes Udoka will play his defensive lineup for a full quarter!

Reed was in the game in the 4th quarter at the end. We were missing shots as a team and Reed was getting pressured by 38 year old Mike Connely and Rudy Gobert they go to the other side of the court on the defensive end and Minnesota misses a shot. Reed doesn't block out Jaylen Clark. Minnesota gets an offensive rebound. These are the little things I am talking about. He had the position, but didnt block out. Jalen Clark jumped over him and got the offensive rebound. Like I said Reed deserved to be in the game, but for God sakes block out. This is all I will say I dont know who's to blame for his minutes. I just want to watch the Rockets and hopefully they can go on a winning streak against some elite teams.

    He did it last night.

And I also think we need a RIM protector and LOB threat to help Reed......and allow for easy alley ooops....I don't believe Alpi, or Adams can do it...and would play more Capela....

Or Reed sabotages himself with his lack of defense. Him & Sengun are targeted more than anybody else for a reason

Listen man, at the end of the day we all root for this team. It’s not about liking one another etc, we fling poo sometimes but it’s in good fun.

Rocket fans are a brotherhood, few people know the shared ups and downs we have experienced with Houston teams.

Here is his post game you literally can’t make this **** up. This fool said 1 good sentence about Reed and says but that was only on scoring , Jayshawn / Oko won it on defense (Reed didn’t finish the game as we all know).

it’s insane to think he is still only focusing on defense

we are on life support from an offensive perspective

If we’re depending on our point guard to box out for boards, then we have a flawed defensive scheme.

Ime is not sabotaging Reed, but his ideas about how to develop Reed are wrong, and he is the most stubborn man on the planet.

It's an intangible, that you do when you're on the court. Nobody is saying rely on your point guard. Man I will be quiet from now on cause some people just don't get it. I will continue to cheer for Reed when he's playing well, but most of all, I will cheer for the Rockets.
