RScientist is right and I don't know why folks want to pile on him. As conceded, the Rox just signed their deal so it isn't surprising that there is some confusion with the various places they are listed. But, there are outlets that have it listed wrong. The Rockets need to make sure that's corrected, not nba.com, not the Chron, not rockets.com, not Yahoo, or anyone else. The Rockets need to be proactive about making sure they are right so the fans can see the games. I think he's right in calling the Rox out here (and it obviously wasn't CF mods he was talking to, even in the unedited first post, he was talking to the Rox folx he knows reads these boards).
Ditto! Since the takeover it has been broadcast on three different channels (two different alternative channels and the main channel). Seems like someone somewhere would be smarter than my Tivo and know what alternate channel it will be broadcast on. I think what some of us are asking for is someone from FSNSW to let us know what channel it will be on.
Me ether. Just go to Menu and click on sports... All of the sports games available will pop up. Look 4 the ROX game and your done. (for dish customers)
JV, at the time he posted that, there was a downloadable scedule with all the tv stations listed available if he would have taken the time to just look. I had posted the link to it three times that day iin other threads... Thta is why he is catching so much crap about it...he ws b****ing and whining about something that was easily found. and as far as the differnt tv channels(alternate FSNs)...that is a specific problem with DirectTV....on TW..it is ALWAYS on channel 37(in Houston)...it has not yet been on any other channel when the listing says FSN. I respect your posts...but on this you are wrong.
I have Directv. I have been unable to find the last 2 games on TV. Last night, the FSNSW channel had the Spurs game listed as showing, but it was blacked out. The alt FSNSW channels did not have the game either. I checked every channel i could think of (51, TNT, TBS, Espns, NBA TV and every friggin FSN channel there is) and nothing, 2 games in a row!!!!!! I called Directv this morning. They told me something about "COMCAST" having the rights to the game, and even though the games were on FSNSW, they couldnt show it. WHAT? Tried to call the Rockets, but all I can find is the ticket number. Called that, then the guy said let me patch you to this other number, which ended up being the ticket line all over again. What the hell people? I just wanna watch my Rockets! Anybody know what the hell is going on with this? Anyone else having this prob with Directv? HELP!
Cant find the Rox on tv and they take away 101 KLOL in favor or ANOTHER latin music station. Whats this city come to?
I had the same thing, go to your DTV box and add the alternative FSSW channels. 648 was last night’s game, I don’t recall the other one, but it was +/- one channel from the regular FSSW channel. If you only have the channels you normally get turned on, you won't find it. One of the channels is marked FSSW alternative, but 648 was marked something else. Hope this helps
Do you have Tivo? My Tivo does not pickup the alternative channels I have the season pass to Rox games and never had a problem till the new "deal" was made. At least the picture is better now.
So brainiac answer me this is it on 51 like the chronicle link you posted says or on TNT like the NBA link you posted? Which is it smart guy? The only dick I see here is you! I have missed more games this year than I have missed in the last 5 years because of lousy schedueling. Its annoying as hell to set your vcr to record a game come home and find you recorded some bull****.

Seems the Rockets are a little out of touch & feel that us fans, that can't afford cable, can just go & buy$200 tickets in order to watch the rockets!! If thats the case all he had to do is ask for som1 to type them up in the thread. Im sure som1 would have been nice enough to do so.
BS all computers can read pdf files. there are pdf readers for all operating systems...Linux, Mac, Windows.. and it isnt some specialized program that requires great amounts of skills to use...you install the freaking program and when you click on a pdf file...it opens it. if you need help figuring that out..start a thread about it in Hangout...Ill help you like I try to help everyone else with computer problems.(just be sure that someone quotes you since I cant see your posts unless someone does)
