Cam Whitmore traded to Wizards for 2 2nd round picks

Crazy how Jalen and Cam were pretty healthy during their time here and suddenly become extremely injury prone the moment the Rockets deal them away.

 

I think this was expected. The Wizards also are probably going to take their sweet time with Trae Young, and I wouldn't be surprised if Trae is pretty much done for the season, too.

That team needs to focus on losing games. This is one hell of a draft class coming up.

 

Wasn't there rumor about Cam's health pre-draft? That was supposed to be one of the reasons he dropped so low, that and bad interview performance.

Blood clot reports only exceeded by calf soreness. Then there's Jalen Green's hamstring that seems like they're still looking for a replacement via donor or still trying to grow a new one in the lab.

 

I wonder if they extend him, I mean at the 20th pick it would be fairly inexpensive.

Seems like it would be a pretty good strategy for a team like that, but he was already in their doghouse before the diagnosis, I believe. I think he’s going to have to take his talents overseas.
