The road schedule reasoning is valid. Then, these first two home games help invalidate it. Rockets are 0-2 since returning home when considering "reasoning".

KD plays 40 minutes, narrow victory vs a subpar team. L
    Blownout vs best team. L

Rockets aren't far from HCA 1st round but they're regressing, with 4 other teams fighting for 4th. Unless there's a miracle trade, Rockets real hopes are next season with Fred. A 2nd round loss in 6/7 games this year could be enough for a real chance next year. CF this year... even better.

Defense and offense were horrible. So many wide open threes and layups/ dunks. Outside KD, everyone is offensively unreliable. Amen will never be a superstar because of his offense and everyone is inconsistent both offensively and defensively. Sengun's offense seems to have regressed. He has no confidence outside the paint!

Good for him. Durant always talking sh*t and is a black hole for this team. 3 points count more than 2 points Ime. Thank God, we didn’t give up much for this pretender.

    Our offense is so unsmart.

But look on the bright side. We still got a lot of offensive rebounds.

I've been shocked at the folks in here and on X talking about the "missed" backcourt call... Amen CLEARLY pushed him, causing the backcourt violation. If the ref blows the whistle, 95% of the time it's going to be a foul on Amen.

As it was, I appreciated that the ref swallowed the whistle.

Yeah i dunno why he doesn’t shoot threes or mid ranges anymore. The mid range he took today was a stupid flamingo from like 18 ft

    KD: 7 of 23
    Jabari: 5 of 15
    Alpi 7 of 15
    Amen 4 of 16
    Davison:2 of 9
    Okogie 2 of 6

    Makes: 27 of 80 shooting!

What do you expect from a so bad shooting Team?!!
There was a lot of wide open shots! It was not only the defense of OKC!
This Team got a mental problem right now!

There's nothing I fear more, than the Rockets with a high draft pick, based on recent history.

    C'mon bro.

It's not the coaches fault a lights out lottery pick shooter is still sitting on the pine when a no name offers nothing player is subbed in ahead of him because of a perceived advantage the idiotic coach has thought of in his head.

Amen or Alpi has to go. Both can’t shoot for **** and Alpi offers no rim protection.. Our staring lineup is 4 non shooters (sorry Bari) and KD. And when I say non shooters I don’t mean they are a bit sketchy but like they literally can’t put the ball in the hoop outside the restricted area.

Right, if they lost this game shooting well and it was just one bad call or bounce of the ball then I'd feel a lot better about this Loss, at least then you can say oh if only this player played a little bit better tonight, if only the refs didn't gift SGA 20 fts, etc etc...

But I feel like OKC didn't even play well enough to blow us out but did any ways.

I think for this season especially I'm just out on this idea of us being a contender.

Once you forget about that lofty aspiration, the record looks fine, and a 2nd round series seems like the goal here.

Jalen and Dillon "not saving the day" is a cope..... The team was more exciting and better last year.

I'm not comparing Jalen to Harden, I said that we gave Harden 7 years but couldn't give Jalen more than a single series because he actually played well in the 1st round....

Jalen has been played tons with few injuries, this has been his worst year but something tells me it will be a very good year stats wise. He was always consistent for us in the health department.

Ime isn't the smartest tool in the shed when it comes to offense or player development..he is a slight upgrade to Silas....

To be fair, I would have guessed that Fertitta would have blessed the KD move, he seemed too eager to begin Phase 3.

This was All part of a lengthy plan (act. short) ......just sucks that the plan is not executed by Presti.

This team is in a really weird place. Lots of issues man. I remember we had that 7 games losing streak last season, but we never questioned the team’s defense and we all knew that they are going rough stretch and they’ll rebound from it, which they did. But this time, something is really off with this team. Lots of questionable decision, ime’s horrible rotations, lack of effort on defense, and 0 offensive schemes. This team doesn’t have an identity and everyone seems to be lost out there.

I feel like it’s not worth the effort in going to the playoffs because you would be delusional if you think they can go beyond the first round.
