People thought Tucker was lazy before... wait until he gets to LA. At least his bad playoff ABs can be hidden a bit more there. He may even luck into a clutch RBI here and there.
This sport is ****ing broken though. It's been doing better recently in terms of popularity but imagine if they actually implemented a floor/cap where every team actually had a chance. Just look at the city of Houston after our run...I know so many people who didn't even watch baseball previously who now watch the Astros.
Here’s a fun one: if you could take ANY player NOT currently on the Dodgers in the entire baseball world, and build a superteam, how many games would the Dodgers win in a 7 game series?
Yeah, I agree. It would be fun to assemble the ultimate contender. But—that it is even a conversation is nuts—the Dodgers are that loaded.
O/U would be 1.5. They’d be facing a team with a playoff rotation of Skenes, Skubal, Crochet, and Brown with a ridiculous bullpen and enough offense to keep up.
Call me jealous, but what the Dodgers are doing is BS but legal in the current scope of the rules, they paid $170+ million in luxury tax last year and will do the same this year, that's bad business but they make up for it in other revenue streams. A 'normal" businessman like Crane is not going to do this because his revenue streams are not the same............we need to level the playing field, this is out of hand, its to the extreme whereas the A`s do the opposite....................I see a work stoppage coming
Their own rotation if healthy isn’t far from that though which is the truly crazy part. The offense would have the much bigger gap. A lineup of Witt, Soto, Judge, Yordan, Vlad Jr, JRam, Marte, Raleigh and Julio would put up runs against their staff.
Would you care if you are making that kind of bank? Tucker learned a long time ago that baseball is a business when we trade away his brother.
