interesting analogy. This team isn’t as bad but i think its just personnel. As i said insert amen anywhere and i think you get the same result. A great defensive guy that can drive and make plays but limits the potential of your offense. And if you have him start then you need a stretch 5 to open up lanes and stretch defenses

And he rarely takes outside shots. The middie king is not what this team needed. Be nice if a 37 year old guy figured out how to handle a double team. He was pathetic tonight.

Honestly I don’t think there’s a superstar out there who can over coach Ime to team success other than Jokic. Pretty sure even Luka will be doing iso and shoot contested 3 entire game if he played for us and SGA would average 19pts due to Ref not calling his baiting in Rockets uniform

Somewhat true since Ben is responsible for our shooting development as well as offensive scheme but don’t forget he is a puppet for Ime since Boston days

So if we go in the tank we can still keep our pick if it’s top 4?

i see him as a shooting coach. i've never view ben sullivan as an offensive coordinator assistant.

And with the point-shaving allegations in the NCAA, these clanging missed shots and all the standing around make you wonder...

a good PG or playmaker can mask a lot of coaching deficiencies on offense

Would it still be an issue at the absolute highest level? Yeah, but you can’t tell me there wouldn’t be a major difference in what we’re seeing if Harden or insert whatever PG you want was running things instead of Amen, Reed, KD, or Sengun.

Ok. Look at the composition of the Spurs then look at the composition of OKC. Now look at the composition of the Rockets with KD and DFS. Now please explain just how that makes them (Rockets) a "championship" roster.

the level of play has certainly decreased. No dillon no fred. Vet leaders. Vocal guys. Durant isn’t that leader its been known. I dunno but last years team was nasty. Stingy. I think the team reflects their leaders and without those guys they feed off Durant’s cool even keeled personality.

There’s not a GM in the league that would trade Amen. He was great the 3 games prior to this. Blaming Amen because he can’t shoot is ridiculous when nobody on the team can shoot running this stupid offense. Sengun and Durant are looking straight at wide open shooters and forcing it up against double and triple teams. There is absolutely no movement on the court. By the way, the offense sucked last year too with FVV and Dillon. It’s not the players.

Thank you!!! I been saying this, we had nothing to lose waiting on Green... Nothing... OKC is likely winning the next 2 years... We could have developed Green further and Reed... See if Sengun improves and then make a significant trade....

Instead they traded the identity of the team, and a very explosive offensive young player for a dude on his way out of the league... In two years if The Rockets don't win it all and Green at least gains consistency we threw away our rebuild. Start again I guess...
