Fans voting for bad decisions left and right Maybe we should have kept our core? We'll see what happens
Iso-only offense. Randomly elevating spare parts like Okogie, Holiday, and Davison over your lottery pick Reed despite zero evidence it affects outcomes (Tate will be next I assure you). Infinite minutes for Amen despite zero evidence it affects outcomes.
This **** was clear as day since the post season There were literally people here I can't even recall their handle (which is why they should still be praying)...that tried to tell us this ****ing loser was better than Adelman or MDA. You hire a dude that preaches being mentally tough but can't even keep it in his pants for his players or team. Imagine it going sideways and failing in spectacular fashion
tilfuk & stone gave chocolatemilk hair a ridiculous bloated 6 year contract. they’re not going to swallow that. so we’re stuck with this neanderthal rest of the decade. the best hope is tilfuk takes a hit in gambling/restaurant revenue and is eventually forced to sell the team
Reed has been ass to be honest. But his body language screams that he wants off this team ASAP. Even when he was playhing well it was any excuse of any off shooting, lapses, mistakes to cut his time and role. Still, this is the NBA and Reed needs to grow a pair. He will do well on his next team.
Seeing people turn on Ime after last season's success is something else. I was afraid that the KD trade would get Ime fired.
Wtf is success here? A fluke 2nd seed? Do you know how many times we did that in the Harden era and still ended up with a failure of a season.. What do you call a 2nd seed (yes own it if you're using it as a metric of success) losing to a 7th seed fringe playoff team Its called failure
Also, 2nd seed sounds much better than 4 games ahead of 8th place grizzlies, while 16 games behind OKC at 1.
Last year expectations were greatly exceeded with a roster that folks had questions about. No one thought they would win 52 games. There's no shame in a young team losing to the grizzled, battle tested vets on the Warriors.
Theoretically, could JVG leave the Clips (assistant coach) and replace Ime or would that violate his contact?
What was last season’s success? Muh 52 wins? Muh 2 seed? Losing as said 2 seed in first round? “Better than Silas” Ime was just as ass last year as he is this year except we blamed Jalen for Ime being ass but Ime is still ass with Kevin. And for being a “defensive guy”, his defense now is also ass. And please, for the love of god, shut the **** up about “muh Fred VanVleet”. Midget is now the savior of the franchise? You’d think he was Prime Chris Paul, prime Steve Nash, vintage James Harden the way he’s talked about. 37/34/81 5 assists “but but but he slowed it down and didn’t turn it over! We sorely miss that!” Take him too.
Okogie, Holiday, and Davison aren't playing any better and have zero upside, but they are getting the minutes. I can't think of any reason why other than it's Ime trying to teach Reed a lesson - and if that's the case, then it isn't working.
It is sad, but the Ime Project has run its course, that 2nd seed was probably the best Ime can offer ..... And his ceiling was 2nd Round or WCF at best. He convinced Fertitta to spend money at least, built a new Practice Center.
It’s sad how people turned on udoka. They were the second seed in the west last season. He got the most out of that team. No other coach could’ve won 51 games with that roster. He’s the reason why Durant wanted to come here.
