True. I’ve been claiming that we need to trade for a decent combo guard off the bench since last year’s deadline. I mean in the playoffs, we had no creator coming off the bench. Tari and Bari got limited minutes due to the pressure the defenders put on them whenever they got the ball. If we had another creator that could cover Fred and JG and shake up our offense, we might’ve won that series. Now, without Fred, while Reed is still under development, we HAVE got to trade for a decent guard. We have the assets to do that. I don’t think we should play the patience card with aging kd. I didn’t mind that the JG experiment didn’t work, because we had to give him a chance and see if he may find some consistency in playoffs. But with kd we pretty much know what he could give us, and we have to improve the roster around him. We don’t need to keep every player from the following group - dfs, Okagie, Aaron, Tate and unc. Some of them are absolutely won’t be missed if we get a decent guard instead.
