Lol hey. I can be a CJ fan boy but also have sports knowledge. You know I was the biggest advocate of Maye in the 2024 draft as the best QB.

anyway, this weekend, cheering on the Texans and sure as heck hope CJ turns it around. Baby steps with having a clean game, if he can turn up his game like he was hitting them outside the numbers before - icing on the cake!

Thoughts before the game in the Colts thread while waiting for this one were that the Steelers do such a terrible job covering the slot, even that BROTHER CHARLIE KIRK was going to be able to shine

    Watched the nfl.com angle.
    Things that stood out:
Christian Kirk averaged 1.8 yards of separation. That's Tank Dell. I was amazed at Porter Jr.'s ability to hug Nico and not draw flags. Not complaining. Officials let us get away with some too. That's all you can ask for from the zebras. But it really disrupted Nico's bread and butter routes.
Oddly enough, when Nico went out and Porter Jr. had to cover non Nico receivers, he got got a few times. Still a great game by Porter jr.

The Int.. Stroud climbs the pocket all off balanced, should have ran and taken the 0 yard sack, but he sees Higgins. Oh and receiver had separation. If he throws it off balanced after the first hesitation, it's a walk in TD, instead he drifts even more to reset. The window had closed, not enough umphf to get it there. Mallet's 200 mph fast balls probably does.

The flea flicker, called it a bad play live. It's a slow developing play with the Steelers pass rush. Nope. If Brown just gets in the way, It's a TD. Higgins had the turbo switch on.

Late 3rd quarter and 4th quarter offense was flawless again. Caley was calling long balls when Steelers clearly couldn't stop the run. Great decision to do that.
