No they didn't. And if the noncommital statements about NATO is what prompted them to invade, they were never stable at any point, and trusting them to act rationally would be foolish.

"...destructive orbiting clouds of shrapnel"...yeah that won't cause any problems down the line, for, you know, every ****ing satellite in orbit around the planet or spacecraft launched to or through it.

    It's funny that

a: they can't even do it
b: they leak out that they "are really working on this"
    c: ???
    d: profit

Europe's focus is to become Muslim. Imagine a technically advanced, nuclear armed, Islamic Europe. That is what future generations will have to contend with thanks to leftists.

An Islamic Canada might also exist and be totally aligned with Europe. Canada may one day be our mortal enemy, thanks again to leftists.

Of course, the American people are themselves suffering significantly from the importation of many thousands of Muslims, thanks to American leftists.

Thanks to western leftists, western civilization as we know it will cease to exist in Europe and possibly elsewhere.

The U.S. needs to get out of NATO and wash our hands of Ukraine.

Since the Europeans can no longer trust the word of a United States under the trump regime, I’m glad Poland and Germany are preparing for what looks increasingly like an eventuality.

As a Dutchman it is strange to say this. But I am glad. It is clear Europe cannot rely on the US anymore as an ally (And currently they are the biggest threat to the free world and world peace in general). So we need to work together as European countries. So Strong armies in Germany, France would be good developments.

Do you realize what kind of selfish take this is?

Since 1990, German defense spending has plummeted to less than 1.5% of GDP. Only recently did it top $50 billion a year, just over 5% of what the US spends. European nations in general have enjoyed very low defense spending and absurdly high welfare spending under the protection of big brother USA. So when you say ally, don't you mean sugar daddy? What exactly has the US gotten out of this agreement?

It is long past time for European countries to up defense spending, take on some autonomy, and stop promoting themselves as welfare states for immigrants around the world whose own home countries don't want them. This is a trend - Europeans not having babies and thinking bottom feeder immigrants and the lure of a welfare state will magically cause things to work out. All European countries need to up their defense spending in order to earn the title of "Ally" instead of sugar baby.

Time for Germany, France, Italy and Spain (not even visible due to how low defense spending is) to atleast double their budget in order to earn the title of ally.
