Offensively? I hear you. I expect at least 1 TD from the defense. Now, will that be enough? I don't know.
I cannot shake the feeling that there's something that is just not right with CJ. Is he lost in his own head? Have the poor coaching screwed him up? Hell, he gives me the impression that he isn't buying into what Caley is trying to do offensively - that he's out there going through the motions. His body language and that far away look in his eyes has me worried every time he takes the field and the stakes are too high now for something like this to be happening.
I mean that’s part of the game. We can’t knock the offense for being in good field position because of the defense. We score we score. That’s how the game is won. I don’t see the Pats scoring 20 and however we get it, we’re scoring more than them.
No one in the national media is talking about us at all. Thought we'd get the majority of the coverage yesterday but nope they talk about Tomlin instead. Even today there are barely any segments about the Texans. We are still flying under the radar.
The Texans just barely beat the Raiders and lost to the Buccaneers. When you don't have a starting caliber QB, you can lose any game.
Make excuses all you want, but since the Texans don't have a quality QB, any game can easily be lost.
IF CJ is not still dealing with post-concussion symptoms (which is possible), I think he will rebound against the Pats. He was very erratic against the Steelers, and his pressers are a tad strange, a thousand "you knows." I don't recall those repetitions much last season or earlier this season. Am I wrong?
When you have an 85 Bears caliber defense, you are "in" any game against any team. Admittedly, CJ seems a tad flaky this season. We are winning anyway.
