Sure, they were great values at the spots they were picked (moreso Sengun and Tari). All mid first rounders though, so not like nobody knew they would be good. I was referring more to second round/undrafted level guys.
JD was the player that most interested me watching the game last night. Haven’t seen much of him so basically a blank slate for me. In 25 min he had 4 assists to 0 turnovers, 7 rebounds and 9 pts. He was 50% from the field, and a +14. Not bad for your first game with significant minutes. Most importantly, our team’s turnovers were down and the offense overall looked much better when he was on the floor. I’m not ready to anoint the kid yet, but I do want to see more. Not sure if his D was the culprit as far as Tre Jones having a career game; will have to watch his defense more closely. I’d like to see both JD and Reed play more. We need Reed’s shooting, and we need to find out if JD can be Fred-light with his ball handling and facilitation. I like that JD already has 3 yrs of pro basketball under his belt and he’s only 23. He seems like he processes the game well. Hope we see more of him.
If he continues to play like last night Holiday should pretty much only see minutes when the game is a blowout.
I really like him. He should get all of holidays minutes That being said people are going crazy over 10 minutes of play let’s take it slow

I had to look up his height since I thought you were exaggerating when I read 6’1”. If someone asked me how tall he is I would have guessed 6’3” - 6’4” LOL. I guess he plays bigger than his height.
don't know why he is standing on the corners rather than executing the play. he is not a great of a shooter i think
Like with everybody the board gripes about them being kept in a corner, he's probably learning wth to do and staying the hell out of the way until he does. lol.
We should experient môre (and observe) with JD running the Point guard. We already know what Aäron holiday can do but no idea on the impact of JD Davison.
