Thats only if the movement loses it's position of power. If Vance, one of his kids, or some new person carries the torch, the Trump era doesn't die.

It's nice to expect hey, this will all be done and things will be normal again after 2028, but this movement and political era will have been around for nearly 15 years at that point, I think odds are, it sticks around and or heavily influences the future of politics, even after Trump the individual is gone. People should prepare accordingly.

Of course they are entirely motivated by politics. Trump literally tells Pam Bondi what to do and sue on social media. Trump doesn’t even do it through private phone calls or having a lackey tell them to insulate his culpability…. He just tweets out to his followers and tags Pam Bondi about what she needs to investigate and charge.

Great at what? Protecting the agenda of Donald Trump at all costs, regardless?

Frustration mounts inside White House over Pirro’s handling of Powell investigation

White House officials are heaping blame on DC US Attorney Jeanine Pirro over her office’s criminal investigation into Fed Chair Jerome Powell, faulting her for blindsiding them with an inquiry that has forced the administration into a dayslong damage control campaign

Inside the White House, officials scrambled to calm markets and reassure lawmakers and to put distance between President Donald Trump and the investigation, even though Trump himself had been one of Powell’s most strident critics.

the investigation into Powell threw into disarray the White House’s plan to wait out the final months of his term in relative peace. It also raised concerns that Trump may now face obstacles in confirming a new, more malleable Fed chair that he sees as crucial to juicing his economic agenda.

GOP's Tillis, who sits on the Senate Banking Committee that oversees the Federal Reserve, sais “Until this matter is resolved, I’m not considering anybody,” “I wouldn’t consider my mother for the post under the current conditions.”

White House tries to contain fallout from Jerome Powell situation — Now, he may stay in place to thwart Trump.

Aside from the immediate political backlash, the investigation could backfire in the long term for the Trump administration, solidifying Powell’s resolve to stay on the Fed board even after his chairmanship ends.

That would deny the president the opportunity to fill a seat with an ally as he seeks a majority on the central bank’s seven-member board. Bessent said last week that he anticipated the president announcing Powell’s replacement either before or after his trip to Davos, Switzerland, later this month.

was Piro drunk again, when she decided to go after Jerome Powell?

Trump aides and allies, meanwhile, said they felt significant frustration with Pirro, who they felt had upended efforts over
the last several months to tamp down the president’s attacks on Powell.

Aides have also pointed fingers at top housing official Bill Pulte, an outspoken Powell critic who had been pushing for
an investigation into him — including recently presenting Trump with a “wanted” poster of the Fed chair, a White House official said.

Amid the backlash, some Trump officials have now openly wondered whether Powell will now decide to stay at the Fed
well beyond the end of his term as chair — a decision that could prevent Trump from filling his seat until 2028,
two of the people familiar with the matter said.

Up until now, Powell had no desire to stick around, the Powell ally said. But “now, I would not be quite so quick to say that.
I think that he might want to in some way, just out of spite.”

Or did Dementia Don give Pirro marching orders, without informing his WH staff?

Rest assured, the poster claiming that popular will should dictate monetary policy also believes fervently in minority rule when it comes to the electoral college and Senate representation. There is no ideological underpinning other than "Trump good".

We thought this the last time his term legally ended.

This time, his regime is not leaving office regardless of, or if there is, an election in 2028.
