Glad to see JD getting some burn, he is our best current PG, he probably should be starting with Reed backing him up, that would balance our roster. Reed will eventually take that spot with his shooting, but JD's ball handling and passing are seriously needed - especially with crappy defenders like Adams and KD getting so much run, and letting their man walk by them so often. Adams shouldn't be playing at all unless they have a big center, would rather go small...... DD
Adams is a good backup center, but he has been over-glorified at Clutchfans. His offensive rebounding and screen setting is impressive. Unfortunately he has terrible hands and his FT shooting has come back to the norm. When setting the screen, he is not a good roll candidate, because of his terrible hands and lack of shooting. He should be playing 10-15 mins a game when Sengun is healthy.
I'm going to take a wild guess. I think it's because he is 4 for his last 25 from 3pt range, which amounts to whopping 16%. If all he is going to do is chuck shots while he's out there, then I would assume he should be making a few of them to justify being out there.
You know you don't need that offensive rebounding when your offense makes shots. The Rockets championship teams were terrible offensive rebounders. Personally, I think Capela should be backing up Sengun with Adams spot playing.....Capela presents that good old LOB threat we can use to help REED and JD and other PGs.... DD
YES! But the pronunciation of the name will change. Instead of saying Tie Tie, it's Titty (TyTy) Washington.
We probably should have been giving JD more of a chance to prove himself earlier on in the season instead of running Aaron Holiday out there almost every game. We're not really going to know what we have with him before the trade deadline at this point, so we don't know if he's good enough to be a rotational player or if we should make a trade for a guy like Alvarado or whoever.
I like JD and he deserves a chance to succeed in the NBA. Hard working and seems to play the right way. currently, Sheppard is the bettter player and should be getting 15-20 shots depending on how good he’s playing I don’t think a lot of it s imes fault with respect to timidness. Reed has to grow a pair and take his opportunity
This is the problem - Reed is not a volume scorer, but that is probably his best role, he is a team first guy, and frankly he needs to be more selfish - this takes time......but not when Ime is yanking him on and off the court.....Ime Micromanaging him when not doing the same for others is a problem.
