I agree with this. I think there were positives and getting rid of Brooks, but we are clearly lacking that galvanizing fiery personality.
I don't think we can even entertain "DD" unless FVV says, "Sure, no problem, trade me." Seems unlikely.
As much as I love Alpi, the news about him "vs" KD is sad news. Hopefully it's just a bit of a spat more than a real issue that's dividing the team. Until KD is done, I want him taking that last shot provided he's not being double or triple-teamed Maybe I'm misreading, but are you saying Ime wants to play Josh and management wants to play DFS more? I'm praying Tari holds up long enough to be traded (would like to keep him, but ...) if it means we get a true ballhandling point guard, and not some scrub or another combo-guard or not-quite-a-point-guard-yet. If teams want Reed, I hope they're lottery teams that are willing to give up unprotected picks in the 2026 draft. Even then, I don't want to give up on him. He's gone from being borderline unserviceable out there to being just inconsistent but promising. He's at least learned he's out there to shoot and be a threat. I want to see where he evolves in the next year or two. That being said, when you say other teams are "willing to give up a lot", it makes me wonder what "a lot" is. I want no part of Russ - no idea what he adds. I think people rag on him too much, and generally his teammates probably like him, but he can't really shoot while losing his marbles on the court at least a few times a week. DeRozan would be interesting, and he's at least acceptable from 3. You'd have 2 of the best mid-range shooters ever on the team, but we'd go from a team of babies to an old folks home almost instantly. Dennis Schroeder would be ... interesting, too, but won't he have to get out of jail first? lol. jk. I think he was suspended for 3 games, but anybody that, after the game, goes and hunts down a player that called him names is some Ime type of psycho. lol. Somebody make sure Luka is ok. Dennis really isn't known for his shooting/scoring, either, but I think he can protect the ball... a bit.
Respect the intel, but Keon Ellis is probably the worst guard ball handler in the NBA. He cannot dribble whatsoever.
