I am in Albany New York, and there is a huge Irish population. I actually belong to the local Ancient Order of Hibernians. In this micro community everyone has an affinity for all things perceived as Irish. They love their: Notre Dame football Boston Red sox and the effin Patriots. I have now turned into an outcast in my own group that I belong. With that being said, I want a straight curb stomp on the Pats. So, I can walk into my Hibernian Hall next Monday to my dart league with my nuts out.
All I know is that we're going to the bowl (never felt better about it). That could potentially set off our dynasty, we're gonna be even better next year. We'll probably be the team to beat
If CJ got the fumbles out of him the Texans should be fine. Defense will make Maye have a terrible game, offense just needs to protect the ball.
Let's see what Drake does when he no longer plays cupcake defenses (like Sunday against us). His QBR on the year is a product of historically weak competition and Josh McDaniels. When CJ gets a seasoned OC, let me know. He's been playing better as Caley has improved. Drake and CJ are not far apart.
As for Sunday. Just make sure to keep Maye in the pocket with a QB spy and let our corners blanket their receivers. They don't really have great receivers. My fear is not Maye, it's Josh McDaniels scheming wide open receivers a few times for big plays
Something tells me the Pats are a little worried about our D considering they are looking for any bit of intel by signing our 3rd stringer.
Indeed. In last year's Texans game against the Pats...we could tell Maye had the potential goods and he is certainly showing to be a really good qb. But he's just starting and with his current solid coaching infrastructure, it looks like all roses for the time being. Now that Maye has emerged, once they have more current tape and the scheduling gets quite tougher moving forward, we shall see. So far, he just had his first playoff win. We know that CJ at least responds to adversity and shifting coaching pathology quite positively. Despite all that, despite his shortcomings, CJ tends to be clutch which does help the D. Can Drake do the same if he encounters extended adversity like CJ?
