The conditions of the two people were not immediately clear. U.S. Border Patrol agents conducting a “targeted vehicle stop” opened fire after a driver tried to run over agents, a Homeland Security Department spokeswoman said in a statement. The spokeswoman, Tricia McLaughlin, described the agents’ target as an undocumented immigrant and member of Tren de Aragua, a gang with roots in a Venezuelan prison that has been a frequent target of President Trump. The shooting appears to have taken place near Adventist Health Portland, a hospital and collection of health clinics in southeast Portland, about eight miles from the city center. The driver drove off after the agents fired on the vehicle, local officials said, and the two shooting victims were found by the police a short drive away, with gunshot wounds.
Honestly, as a rule going forward I'm not going to believe "driver tried to run over agents" any longer without positive video corroberation. ICE chicken little's have provided positive proof as to their lack of ability to honestly recount events.

At this point, I don't believe anything coming from the government regarding the Border Patrol, Customs, or ICE, to be honest. I won't believe that these were gang members until I see proof. The victims drove away and then called local police to come and assist them. That does not seem like gang behavior to me. It's sad when you believe your government is lying to you constantly to push agenda through. I know that's been going on for decades, but at least it's been (thinly) veiled.
In the past I believed about 65% of what they would tell us, with a sly little lie here and there but this is a whole new level because we can see and hear with our own eyes, something happens, we see the video and then folks like ice Barbie and kash come out and LIE, then the orange man chimes in on said lie and then fox and friends disseminates the lie to the sheeples so they have their daily talking points I dont believe ANYTHING this administration says or does
They want it to get worse. It is baked into the plan for ramping up their own violence and subjugation. It creates and supports their false excuses for the excess and feeds the justifcation for escalation. I'm sure Miller is fervently working on a final solution to the extremist leftist agitation.

I will believe the Portland Police department. Now that they've confirmed it. I think it's ridiculous that sanctuary laws prevented them from being arrested previously. That should not be a thing.
Sanctuary laws don't prevent them from being arrested. It prevents them from being turned over to ICE. If they arrested them for attempted murder like the tweet implied, they would still be in jail. But that wasn't what the Portland police actually said. You probably still disagree with that policy to not turn them over, but without those types of policies, the victim in that crime would likely have been turned over to ICE. Edit: I want to add, I don't believe in being 100% sanctuary. Violent criminals (and most non-violent felonies as well) should be turned over to the Feds before being released from prison. But victims and witnesses should never have to fear deportation because they came forward, nor should people be afraid to pullover for the police because a simple speeding ticket might get them deported.
