Well all this is saying is that when he plays well the team wins and vice versa. We don't really know if the winning-losing causes his shooting or the other way around.
Problem is, Jabari isn't excellent at the 3 or the D. I can handle him being inconsistent, but his averages just aren't good enough considering how wide open his looks are. If he was a better defender, his shooting might be acceptable. It really bugs me he gets psyched out so easily/often. Where he was drafted has nothing to do with anything from my standpoint. It's about his performance on the court. I'm hopeful the end of the insanely unbalanced schedule will be the start of a long rebound for both Jabari and the team.
I like to dust this off every now and again but I don’t think the Rockets worked out ANY of the top three in Bari’s draft. Maybe Paolo. But I don’t think they expected Bari to be there. And he definitely didn’t work out for them. Maybe they still would have taken him after working him out? But he’s kind of a stiff. Kind of a tweener, not positionally but between being a good and bad basketball player.
Its because all of the gaslighting from the front office groupies here and on Twitter. We have this amazing player but we cant see it.
Good to see Jabari throw three daggers down the stretch instead of bricks. Those were huge shots. I repeat: Home cooking after the kooky early schedule may be what the doctor ordered for both Jabari and the team.
Made one 3 and everyone lost their ****. Only 1-8 download the QR code and drop his littlefoot looking ass at Amazons drop off at Kohls, UPS, Whole Foods or wherever
Come on, how long have you been following the team? I can easily name 10-20 more hatable players from this decade alone. Hes frustrating, but he’s not a bad guy. Other than his current slump, he’s pretty decent as the 4th or 5th best starter.
lol. Good call. What’s Jabari’s version of the teardrop? “Jabari all the Rockets need at Power Forward.”
