Or if Bills lose to Denver, the Elway 1991 playoff 21-6 comeback. It will be like the magic 2017 Red Sox/Yankees/Dodgers run for the Astros. Exorcise all demons. Let’s will it into existence!
I hate to be THAT guy but…. Two of these involved the Oilers, not the Texans, and, even if we put that aside… the Texans have already beaten Buffalo in the playoffs back in ‘19. It would be, for me, mildly interesting to win a playoff game in Pittsburgh (my oldest son is named Campbell, so I’m very connected to the Oilers past). But I guess everyone forgot the Oilers played the Steelers in the playoffs in ‘89. Huge favorites, at home - and lost. Ended the Glanvile era.
More like the Houston revenge tour. 2019 was nice but not close to being a revenge for blowing a 32 pt lead. Beating them in the afc title game will be it.
Lorenzo White fumble in OT w/ great starting field position, Steelers recover, Gary Anderson for the Steelers win
Reports that Titans are on the short list for Harbaugh along w/ Giants & Falcons. Yikes! Apparently Harbaugh likes Cam Ward, the Titans high draft picks, & their $100 mil in cap space
That’s fine…. Which HOF coach left one team (that he was a HOF for) and had major success with the next team? Parcells and the Pats/Jets/Cowboys is the only one I can think of… and he was a much more imposing/controlling coach than Harbaugh.
Not sure Reid makes the HOF with just his Eagles stint… but pretty close. College success (in between a cameo in the NFL) non-applicable.
Thats awesome. Landry, Cody, Regi and Sean had a chat about this tonight. Good for him but it seems the best coordinator who has HC vibes on the staff is former Longhorn DT Rod Wright. They were emphatic about keeping him at all costs. I bet he gets the bump to DC if Burke gets a gig. If not pay the local kid $$$ and keep him here as long as possible.
I'm actually surprised that Dline is not the best in the league. They have a ton of talent there. We'll see if Harbough can release that potential.
