In the future, the Fed will be extinct and the world will be governed by one monetary policy

The funniest thing is the MAGA cultists @Commodore @K9Texan have no issue with their government laundering billions of dollars to donors while pretending to care about corruption.

The United States Attorney’s Office contacted the Federal Reserve on multiple occasions to discuss cost overruns and the chairman’s congressional testimony, but were ignored, necessitating the use of legal process—which is not a threat.

The word “indictment” has come out of Mr. Powell’s mouth, no one else’s. None of this would have happened if they had just responded to our outreach.

This office makes decisions based on the merits, nothing more and nothing less. We agree with the chairman of the Federal Reserve that no one is above the law, and that is why we expect his full cooperation.

He's nothing more than a propaganda bot...one that I've pulled the plug on a long time ago. There's really not much debate here just the ignorant and stupid attempting to troll or push their narrative.

On this thread I think it's absolutely insane that the markets aren't in the shitter yet with everything going on...

The Republicans Breaking Ranks With Trump Over the stupidity of the Powell Investigation: ‘We Don’t Need It’

    Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska
Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina
    Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana
    Sen. Susan Collins of Maine
    Rep. French Hill of Arkansas
Rep. Mike Lawler of New York

    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...well-federal-reserve-bill-pulte-b2899385.html

several of Trump’s allies were “alarmed” by Friday’s dramatic escalation of his long-running feud with Powell over interest rates, amid fears it could upset the bond market.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is understood to have made his disapproval clear to the president, while several Republican senators, including Majority Leader John Thune, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, and Thom Tillis, have also expressed objections.

This is correct, but getting there with the least amount of human suffering is kinda important.

I'm not sure Trump believes in Bitcoin like he says he does. He's going to run the money printer into the ground over the next few years and then blame democrats for inflation again, lulz.

I agree. But then, the markets seem to think that, come what may in the long term, companies will be able to operate profitably for the next 6-12 months. Maybe the markets are even gleefully banking on a wonderful financial 6 months after Trump gets to start setting rates wherever he wants them, like an IV drip of pure syrup. That is, before the whole system gets very sick. Markets seem to assume they'll sell perfectly and bank their profits.

I'm not sure markets say much, at least anymore, about the actual health of an economy or its prospects beyond 2-3 quarters of growth.

Isn't this the weirdo that basically lied about almost her entire past according to her own family? Lied about robberies, etc.?

Didn't she say during an interview that she has proof about non-living three dimensional humanoids that can hide in walls on earth?

This is also the same idiot that claimed Hillary Clinton had AIDS and has praised Putin in the past? That the Russian KGB secretly confided in her who murdered JFK and JFK Jr.

She is the moron that tried to get a bill passed to have Trump on Mount Rushmore..... that the Vatican was hiding Christian slaves ........ that she was working on getting Trump's impeachment expunged.

This woman is completely nuts---- if you want to lean on a woman that seriously believes that non-living humanoid Time Lord's are walking the earth and hiding in walls because they can jump from one dimension to the next--- that is on you, but where I come from, that is called mental illness, or someone that is a liar.

Also - Sorry - but no one believes that the Russians pulled her aside and gave her the "real" report on the assassination or JFK - and no one believes that her room mates and PD were wrong, and that she was in her home when there was a break in.

In the past, weirdos like Luna and Marjorie Green were marginalized but competent people in their party, and they either got mental help or they ended up in a home...... now they are Republican congresswomen.

The desperate 0 chance attempts to indict Letitia James prove her statement to be false. They are motivated by politics and little else.
