Lost in CJ's boneheaded TO's, the offense otherwise actually looked very good. 408 yards and 6.2 yards per play is elite production.

This. People really dogging on Stroud. Did he play the best? No but he showed up when it mattered most last night.

I have a feeling he will have a great game versus New England.

42 year old quarterback with multiple MVPs and a Super Bowl ring. He'll be alright. He's had an amazing career and although he gets weird grief from the fans, his teammates love him. That tells you something.

I'm sure Forrest Whitley can hook him up with some Adderall if he still hangs in Houston.

    Complex family situation. Many cases:

“I grew up in a very white, dogmatic church and that just really didn’t serve me,” Aaron Rodgers said. “It was very rigid in structure; I’m not a rigid person.”

Aaron Rodgers has made other comments about his experiences with religion in his youth.

“Most people that I knew, church was just … you just had to go,” Aaron Rodgers said on the “Pretty Intense” podcast with then girlfriend Danica Patrick.

He said in the documentary that in high school, he began to steer away from his parents’ beliefs. It was around this time that he began to not feel close with family, except than his younger brother Jordan Rodgers.

Man............I am still high from last night. A+ for the O Line, A+ to Woody and Chubb and a friggin A+++++ for this Defense. If we can run like this the rest of the way, that will be our ticket to the SB. I love CJ and he dropped some absolute dimes last night but those TO`s were UGLY and it seemed like he was trying too hard. I fear Nico won't be available next week and if this is the main reason we drafted Kirk then so be it, he came up huge.

This D can take us to the SB but the offense almost needs to play mistake free football....................shout out to the OC, and the O Line, best performance of the year and at the right time, there peaking at the right moment

You mean signed Kirk. he was drafted by the cardinals and became relevant with the Jaguars.

I was about to say the same. For the amount of humbleness the defense display, CJ sure talks quite a bit of trash.

Had texans lost the game, Houstonians would call to trade his ahhh.

They were showing the ability to chew up clock and sustain long drives (via short passes and a mix-in run here/there) in the regular season as well. Those 14-18 play drives that started after the Jacksonville comeback was basically Caley and the offense figuring out their comfort zone (even if many resulted in FG’s only).

They’ve had more HR attempts recently (hit two in the Chargers game… flea-flicker was there, just poorly timed/executed).

Also I do think they wear down defenses significantly with those long drawn out drives… then combine that with the stifling defense on the other side that forces quick series, and its a recipe for domination… even if your QB has his head in the clouds and your inexperienced OC thinks this is a wednesday night online Madden tourney of lets FAFO.

Defense was just relentless, so great to see it. Will be interesting to see how they gameplay for Maye who can beat you from the pocket and with his legs. Glad DeMeco and Matt Burke have tape of him from last year.

They have this defense humming though. Scored at least one defensive TD in each of the three Wild Card games, that's amazing.

Let's keep it going; go Texans!

The run game was fantastic. Helped of course by the Steelers' mediocre defense, but still encouraging.

A Rockets win would hit hard right now.
And the all 22 releases at midnight. I want to see how they nullified Nico and his reliable in-breaking routes last night without drawing flags.
Sucks second concussion in 10 weeks.

    The Revenge Tour

WC - avenge Luv Ya Blue/Renfro vs Steelers
    DV - avenge Brady years
CC - avenge Buffalo (in Houston)
SB - Rams (any Lakers loss) Seahawks (any Sonics loss)

This is setting up crazy !!!

Protect the ball CJ and let the generational defense generate.

As much as I like Maye, I’m not worried about him with this D. Similar to Allen, they can rush 4, spy and shut down their very average receivers with our elite secondary.
TE might be the only advantage they have if one of our LB have to spy and Pitre isn’t available to that assignment.
It’s more about can the offense score imo
