Who did he throw under the bus? Do the players agree with you and feel he threw them under the bus?

HAHAHAA you don’t watch the games. Smith gets hunted on defense more than reed. Westbrook tonight was literally HUNTING him and even bodied him. Deni was hunting him off screens as well. Reed never gets time to get into rythm, it’s a fact. He’s not confident because he’s constantly worrying about getting pulled. Not to mention that shooting sample is skewed because he usually misses one three, then gets benched a minute later and never gets time to get into rythm.

And lastly reeds shooting and playmaking has won us several games. Can’t think of a single game Jabust won for us.

And in the mavericks L- Aaron holiday was a negative, zero points, played literallt no defense, and yet he closed over other guys who performed better.

Ime is soley and squarely at fault. An unaccomplished coach who was also an unaccomplished player.

I don’t get it. What “offensive scheme” do you want him to run?

We run multiple sets a game. We also play off our strengths which is iso with the 2 stars (Many teams play this way including OKC.) We run multiple types of screens 3-5, 1-5, double drags for ball handlers and staggers to free shooters. And our horns actions allow backdoor cuts.

I said nothing about hunting did I? I said playing defense. Any argument you want to make of sheppard playing defense is simply dishonest or isn’t credible.

You keep referring to Sheppard winning games? When? Earlier in the season? What has he done the past 17 games? Not sure why you keep hunting Smith when they don’t even play the same position. What playmaking from Reed? What plays does he consistently make? Let’s not make up things here. Sheppard plays big minutes. If anything Holliday hasn’t played consistently. The whole argument that he’s worried about getting pulled is garbage. If you’re a professional you are ready to play. If you can’t and “worried” then you shouldn’t be here.

I can also tell you don’t understand a team concept or what coaching is about.

    Alright:
121-114 win vs the Bucks, ROCKETS were down double digits most of the game, even entering the 4th, reed had a big second half and made tons of winning plays to keep the rockets in the game and cut the lead, with Alpi and KD ultimately coming ahead.

117-113 win vs Orlando: Reeds playmaking and three point shooting off the bench kept the rockets momentum in the game when all the starters minus KD were having stinkers. He had 16 this game, including several big 3s and impressive dunks.

    Win vs GSW- self explanatory.

Reed has defensive flaws but at least gets steals and blocks. Jabari smith Jr does none of that despite being 6’11”. The lineup should be:
    Sheppard-Eason-Amen-Durant-Sengun, when healthy.

You just proved my point. Let’s not exaggerate and make things up. Re watch the tape on Smith. Nothing more to say here.

I watch every game. I watched westbrick literally push him off and score off him. Jabari made westbrick look like an all star player and that’s saying something.

I want them to iso less and run those plays more. When the game gets tight they abandon the structure and stand around watching whoever has the ball try to create something from nothing.

In an ideal world give me Rick the Ruler and go full Princeton using Alpe in the Kings Vlade Divac high post facilitator role.

Ime is a great defensive assistant coach. Him being a great head coach is definitely debatable.

Tired of Ryan Hollins continually saying that Jabrari is soooo much stronger this year. Westbrook was rossing him around like a flea bag last night. Twice he fell on his butt when shoved by Westbrook which made easy layups.

Stone definitely failed by not signing a pg backup.. with that said - isn’t it also part of Ime’s responsibilities as a head-coach? I mean, signings of Okagie and the re-signs of Tate, Holiday and Unc all smell like Ime’s instructions to keep his faithful men. Seems like he has to have things going his way or the high way. A pg should have been signed even before Fred’s injury, as a backup. I really don’t if it’s more on Ime or Stone, but both of them pretty f*** up on this.
Regarding DFS injury - yeah, that’s sucks. I really think that the optimal solution is to trade him for a decent pg, so we don’t have to use A-Holiday as a starter ever again..

I have had one foot off the Ime train for a while now. Now both feet are off. We will never win anything significant with him as head coach. He is a huge upgrade to Silas but then again anyone who has ever coached Little Dribblers is an upgrade to Silas. If Tilman want this team to ever compete for a championship he will have to eat the contract they gave Udoka because we ain't going anywhere with him leading.

I agree with everything except your math. We haven’t made it to 50% of the season yet.

People really need to stop comparing Udoka to Silas. It's like comparing the wealth of a trust fund baby to that of a uber driver and talk about how the trust fund baby should be applauded for doing better in life. Silas was brought in to tank and he was ordered to tank. He had a malcontent John Wall, Eric Gordon whose too old to care, a bunch of young kids, and street FAs that never amounted to anything after they left the Rockets. Meanwhile, when Udoka signed on the Rockets spent $80mil in FA money which obliterated every other team's FA expenditures. Not to mention those young prospects under Silas got more experience and improved.

Like him or hate him, Udoka needs to be compared to coaches of contending teams. Because when he took over the team it was fundamentally a different roster compared to the Silas days.

Folks wanted to 'trust the process'....

tank and get a bunch of lottery picks....

Personally, I've always been about getting known commodities - but thats not as 'sexy' for most as a high lottery pick....

KD has done his job. He has been as advertised. ...and he'd prob be better is he were on a reasonable minutes load...

If we had sent out Jabari instead of Dillon Brooks, we'd be in a great position...

If we had FVV instead of Reed we'd be in a much better position...

Amen is spitfire - but he cant shoot... and makes many mistakes...

Folks claiming that losing JG hurt us - no it didnt... he was skitzy af....

Now folks can claim that its mgmt's fault for picking the wrong guys... but Stone took the consensus bpa....

Everybody says its about guys developing... the thing is that many players dont develop into starting caliber players... thats what we are seeing...

Could we get a #3 or #4 pick for Jabari, Amen or Reed today? Could we have gotten a #2 for JG? Thats lost value....

Our best draft result has been Sengun... and he was taken at #16... thats a 'treadmill of mediocrity pick'.... or at least thats what i was told...

    jus sayin....

KD is not the problem and he is not holistically the Solution because he is only the Sniper when you have that heliocentric ball handler to pair him up with.
They are growing Chet to be a Super defensive version of KD over there.

    • That SGA dude that can draw fouls, make plays, get everyone involved and defend as well at a high clip.
    • The Spurs have 2 that can grow into that guy.....namely Castle and Dylan Harper.

KD is the known commodity... and we are getting a reasonable return...

The Spurs guys could be stars - or they could be playing overseas in 3 years.... its a crapshoot... which is what it is to rely on drafting talent...

Most top draft picks are like a new car... it depreciates the minute u drive it off the lot...

Personally, when i have blackjack and I'm looking at a dealer ace - i'll take even money!

Well yeah, the Rockets were never known to be a team that develops talent. They really got lucky with Sengün who was ready from the get go.

They were mostly a team that picked up already developed players from other teams ......otherwise Hartenstein would not have been cast away.

I agree, Jabari plays better coming off the bench. He’s getting exposed and outshined in his role - maybe trying to be too much like Durant. His game is defense and defense. His shot will come not from chukin 3’s or shooting out of rhythm KD fadeaways. It’s being defensive stopper. Let KD Sheppard a Sengun and Eason (best 3pt shooter in the league) do the scoring.
