I think we had one of the worst offensive ratings last year. Dont remember what it was, but I don't remember them saying it during our playoff series. Rockets defense vs Golden states offense.
I think the Offensive rating got better bc of the rim shots by Alpe and the midrange game by KD......paired with 2nd chance pts and O rebounding. Still it is a one sided diet now as well.
I think, I gave up on the Rockets last year after that losing streak. Then I looked up and they were the number 2 seed again. We lost to Toronto, the nets twice and some other bad team. I remember there was a big debate about how important Fred was
OK so it bothered me and I went and looked it up. We had the the 13/14 ranked offense for most of the year. We had 6 game losing streak that started January 30th. Where we lost to , the Nets twice, New York, Dallas, Memphis, and Minnesota. The Nets twice was the one that stung for me.
I missed this game them losing to the Kings and only mustering up 98 points in the process is a big yikes

Theres a fundamental issue with how this team is being coached. People always fantasize about how a players thats missing will/would be "the difference". When Tari gets healthy When DFS gets healthy If Fred was healthy If Dillon were still here When Adams is out..."Oh we needed his physicality and rebounding" Sengun was out injured..."he makes such a huge difference for this team" Even had someone in here saying we miss jalen because he creates more problems for defenses than KD... All while ignoring/forgetting when we had those players it still looked bad. One or two players isnt the reason we are losing to some of these teams and looking as bad as we have in some of these games. You got KD, Amen, and Sengun(this past game)...plus nba quality roles players...that should be enough to not go 0-3 in consecutive games against the blazers and kings if you have a coach that knows how to coach outside of "play harder, play tough, be a dog"... Where the **** is the actual coaching and NBA level scheming? Why are certain guys allowed to be jihadist on the court while others get yanked or dont even get a chance? Why is the go to when you dont have any other ideas to just throw out double big with three non shooters and hope for the best? Ime should have been hired as a motivational speaker or assistant coach. He's lost.
If true, he'd be run out of town for it just like Calipari. Sampson is a good coach so he wouldn't be that dumb.
