At this point with the way Ime is losing to the bottom 5 squads in the conference it’s borderline fireable. Regardless to rather we have a PG or not it’s completely unacceptable and he needs to get it together really soon. Not to mention he’s the one that wanted KD and getting him essentially cost us 2 young players and a solid role/glue guy that gave us good depth, all this because he wanted to rush the process after watching his former team win a championship

Reed got 14 mins lol if Reed makes one mistake on defense he's out of there. Aaron gets to get abused by random Kings players and he's not leaving the game for any reason.

Where were you when Silas was coaching? I was one of the only ones saying he sucks (as I have consistently said about Jabrari and Stone) but somehow never ever heard a peep out of you about Silas. Hate to tell you but Udoka is 1000 times the coach Silas was and he ain’t going nowhere!!! My only issue with Udoka is his ridiculous love for Jabrari who has now lost us three games singlehandedly. Bad coaching by yelling free throw choker Sengun on defense when Jabrari is even worse than Reed on defense. Westbrick blew by him time and time again and Jabrari never beats anyone to a rebound. Bust and causing loss after loss.

I don't really put much into Ime's media talk. Yes it does indicate the person he is. But, maybe its what would favor my kind of approach - I would Andy Reid & Belichick it. Bland & little as possible.

Only talk about defense and mindset to the media. And actually talk offense and other strategies personally. A "Media Mode" different from an "Actual" mode

Cuz at the end of the day, even with bad offensive coaching, the players just need to **** shots. And they've been bricking open threes for a while now. Rockets play a slow pace, but the defense actually has actually stayed the same, or even gotten better allowing less points per game in January.

There hasnt been much radical change to cause the poor shooting. Like, Okogie not starting shouldn't lead to such bad shooting collapse.

The only thing you really can point to then, is (1) other team figures out bad coaching. Or (2) its a "locker room" drama issue of losing the team. We're not there to know. But that is always plausible I suppose

 

Our offense has been a one trick pony all year (offensive rebounding) and teams found out quickly. Everyone knows that if they are disciplined on box outs they have a good chance to beat us because we suck on offense. No system, no rhythm, no nothing. Get KD (or sengun) the ball and go out of the way. But not even in their spots, just anywhere. It’s trash coaching and im tired of the apologists. Put your players in positions to succeed. Do your job and if you can’t, gtfo.

Reed carried us against GSW and almost beat denver for us. Ime hasn’t given him a chance to develop yet and benches him before he can get any rythm while jabari smith plays 49 mins a game

He shot 32% on threes last 15 games prior to kings game. Doesn’t defend well and makes bad decisions on both ends. We also don’t see what he’s doing or not doing in practices or scrimmages that the coaching staff sees.

Just because a player comes off the bench doesn’t mean they can’t find rhythm. These are professional players. You are ready to play when your number is called. I’m sure he personally doesn’t use the excuse of not starting or playing more minutes for “rhythm”. Besides he plays over 25 min a game including 34 last portland game.

Smith is a 4. He defends, rebounds and has come up with a lot of stops. He was also shooting 39% from 3 before the last portland game. A lot of the hate here is misdirected. I don’t put everything on Udoka when players are point blank missing shots undefended.
