How about we look at it objectively and using facts right? So the Rox with FVV last year injured had a 0.500 record they went 11-11. This year without FVV, DB and JG the Rox have a 22-13 record of 0.632 So unless my math is wrong 0.632 is better than 0.500 right? Now we look at the net rating, last year Rox were top 4 in defensive net rating by the playoffs and top 16 in offensive net rating. This year Rockets are top 3 in offensive rating and top 8 in defensive rating. So by all objective measure the Rockets are still better now with KD especially with FVV injured. Ime is dependent on FVV like a drug addict on crack, imagine if we didnt get KD and only have DB and JG is injured as well. People dont even realize we had FVV healthy for most of last year, when he was gone the offense and defense went to hell. This is not even counting Jabroni having the worst stretch of his life and DFS scamming Stone. The above is the only objective analysis on KD's impact, others here are full of nonsensical and overly emotional or biased arguments that dont make any sense.
When was the last time Alpy really put in effort against a bad team? It feels like he is often putting in half-assed efforts against bad teams, delivers stats, but nowhere near what he is capable of
He shouldn’t even be back this early but because we’re playing like dogshit we’re forcing him back early. I don’t know what the adjustment is, but something needs to be changed with this squad.
definitely not, and Reed playing like a p***y tonight is also on him but whn you're yanking people left and right for the smallest things regularly its not really a recipe for player development. I would think rockets fans would figure that out by now and think hmmm something is fishy with all these players literally getting worse while here
Welcome to Ime’s offense. In combination with the lack of players who can make entry passes into the post or pocket passes in the pick-and-roll, you end up with sengun isos from the three-point line.
Agree with this. FVV makes a huge difference as another point of attack AND for his poise and ball secrity.
Did you see the shape and color of his ankle at yesterday's practice? He is literally playing through it because we literally suck balls without him. Although you are right about him being selective in his effort depending on the opposition.
