So many people talking like the Texans already won this game that I'm extremely nervous about it. Very bad juju.
Very bad juju indeed. The mojo, gris-gris, and voodoo are also negatively impacted by this. No jinx. But no, since you ask, I'm not superstitious at all.
This was prepped Dec 28th waiting to be unleashed. Make history, Texans 1st road playoff WIN PRIME TIME !!!
It's the Silly Season again. So called EXPERTS even posted that we have Laremy Tunsil holding down Left Tackle and Trent Brown at Right Tackle. They have never been on the roster at the same time as Laremy left on 3/10/25 and Trent signed on 3/24/25. I played it three times just to make sure. It can't be a new posting of an old story. It's just WRONG. 2:20
This got me looking up that '93 team for old time sake. I counted their roster having 21 players who were Pro Bowlers & All Pros any time in their career. Had 8 Pro Bowlers that year. Absolute STACKED team. Warren Moon, the prettiest thrown football. Deserving Hall of Famer. But goodness, he was literally the all time worst in fumbles. That Chiefs game, Moon was sacked 9 times (uncharacterisic of that awesome line), fumbled FIVE times (too characteristic of Moon) "2nd-half season" offensive player of the year Gary Brown (RIP) stuffed. All that, and Oilers were still up 13-7 in the 4th quarter.. Yikes Yeah if it's legit game for Buddy Ryan to throw punches, it was that one
Wow, didn’t realize that about the fumbles. Did he lose all 5? I used to argue that he was a HOFer, but it was really all based on regular season play. He obviously has the biggest playoff choke of all time on his resume (Buffalo), and the home loss to KC isn’t small potatoes either. Plus he beat his wife.
Up 10 at the half if memory serves. That game put the cherry on top for a 3-year in a row blown lead playoff disappointment for the Oilers, as disappointing a letdown as any in my life following Houston sports. For context, you have to add that many picked the Oilers to reach the Super Bowl most of those years. To never reach one, just added to the disappointment. Now I’m 50 and have still never watched a Houston pro football team in a conference championship game much less the Super Bowl (was too young for late 70s AFC championship games)
Congrats to Mills and I hope everything is fine with the baby and the mother. If they are well though, I really hope that he makes the trip to Pittsburgh. Family first and all that, but damn it would be nice to have him instead of some random backup QB in the playoffs.
