    She is trying to revive her music career, but she is no longer a Disney star and there are (I can tell you) stiff competition in the female singer space.
    I mean female singing about female stuff is the toughest nut to crack in the space.

    I think her being far distance away from Disney, is actually what freed her to just do music without that expectation. Needing to age far away is the benefit, not a deterrent. Its then if she expects chart success (that's doubtful, but she might not need that)

    Then there was that "mom pop" era of 90's/early 2000's where Cher had no business dropping club bangers against the Britney crowd. So just never know I guess lol
