Even if it weren't illegal, it's a horrendous idea. Was just poking fun at DD's bright idea of trading 4 guys for Markkanen mid season. Imagine Ime's face when this front line tries to play good defense: Sengun Markkanen Durant
I think Jabari needs to be benched for Reed...last year, Jabari was way more productive coming off the bench. Anyways, Ime gotta hold him more accountable. If he's not getting into the low block more and scoring from the post, his ass needs to be benched. We're done with his 15-ft fadeaways - who he think he is, KD or MJ???
People forget the players are human and aren’t perfect and get disappointed in them real quick. Bad shooting stretches happen, bad plays happen. The team has to go through it. I will agree tho we do need a trade for another scorer. This team needs alpi bad
Jabari is just doing what Jabari has been coached to do. I have a theory, a very speculative theory, that some players just lack the psychological make-up to be elite. Think of them as psychologically inclined "role players." The problem arises when you have someone with the physique and skills to be elite but there's a psychological discomfort with asserting themselves except occasionally. I think Jabari fits into this category. The reverse can also be true — when a player thinks they are elite but lack the skills or BBIQ. The first type might have a 30pt game one day but you won't see it again for months. That's because having a string of 30 point games goes against some internal script that they have grown up with. I suspect, another theory, that KD and the coaching staff see Jabari as a potential star but lacking the assertiveness to grow into a lead dog. So they are telling him "take as many open threes as they give you." For all I know they are saying the same thing to Reed. Just theories. Cuzz...fee-yuk...how do you fee-yukin splain last night boolsheet!
I 100% agree with the first part. The "I'd rather have Bari than Mobley" thread a couple weeks ago was an overreaction and the pile on after a few bad games is an overreaction now too. But Bari struggling has nothing to do with anyone but Bari. He's bricking wide open looks. I expect he'll snap out of this but it's not on Ime at all.
So many haters! Jabari is a top 10 pf. I would need Luka or SGA to even consider it. It’s not easy replacing his length, 4 rebs per game.
He is only 22, and Reed is 21, Amen is 22..... None of them are done developing - and need about 2 years each.....it is unrealistic to consider it otherwise. And without Sengun distributing and creating we have no one else to do that.......well we do, but Ime won't play them. DD
Amen’s upside is evident. Reed’s upside is there, not as high as Amen but you can tell he’s not a finished product. What upside does Jabari have? What part of his game do you see where you go man… imagine him in 5 years?
Lol Apologies dude, I can't take your opinion seriously because of all the catastrophic and catastrophizing threads you've made. I'm honestly not sure if you're even serious when you post. Maybe it's a really funny series of trolling that I'm just not getting. Being totally honest.
The offense is generating good shots but we are missing them..... Jabari is missing them. It really gets tiresome hearing we don't have an offensive system.... Clearly you don't notice a lot of the Nuggets playbook we run with the two man game (Reed/Sengun, Reed/ Durant, and Durant/Sengun) or we are generating the increase in 3 point shots.
Jabari's trade value is mostly that he has a tradeable contract at 20-whatever million and he is at least a competent NBA rotation player. That helps in superstar or bad contract offload deals. As a player like I have said so much it's boring he is what he is. An OK player, not an all-star level player. Seems clear Stonetitta and Ime internally value him more highly than his production warrants, on the other hand he seems to have a good attitude so you can see why they'd think that.
he was 6-11 from midrange last night LOL at least know what you’re talking about dude let’s make sure the hatred at least makes sense
I don't want Jabari traded. I do want him to play better. No one player is usually responsible for a loss in a team game, but his fourth quarter basically sealed the deal. He pretty much lost us that game single handedly. I can't recall him ever doing that before.
