But holy hell were most of us wrong when we wanted him gone to open up playing time for Tari/Bari. Wish there was a way we could’ve kept him.
I would trade KDs soft ass straight up for Brooks. We are no where close to being as physical as we was last year. I wouldnt be surprised if KD asks for a trade to whoever puts us out of the playoffs this year. I cant believe Rockets fans like this dude after he went to the Warriors but that's who he is.
It’s not KDs fault, dude is the only one hooping. Where’s Tari, DFS, Bari?? FVV is also a decent defender, we’re missing him too. This team would look much better if everyone was healthy. this team would be a championship contender if we traded green and bari instead of brooks.
Yeah Bari is not developing fast enough so in hindsight we should have ran it back in stead of trading for Durant or included Bari instead of brooks. Now we need to make another move to get out of th DFS business

I miss Brooks and I truly appreciated his time here, but I don’t think that trading him for kd was a mistake. The mistake is that we didn’t sign any backup for pg position and instead believed that developing Reed and Amen to this position would be sufficient. It’s the absent of a pure pg with FVV’s injury which limits us, and not Dillon’s. At least imo. I am glad that he’s found his place with the Suns.
How would having a pure pg make us hit those wide open 3’s? We didn’t hit our 3’s last year with FVV. Our problem is there is no discernible offensive system. It’s just street ball. Give Kerr this same lineup and we would be beasting.
Did "most of us" want this? I loved and still like the trade to get KD but also knew Dillon would be a big loss. There's a good argument we should have structured a trade to keep Dillon and send out Jabari, though, especially if we could have kept the 10th pick (draft Coward) and sent out a future pick with protections instead.
how do we go from shooting 38% on 3s to 24%, 22% and 23% in the last 3 games on mostly wide open looks... smh
Kerr couldn't design a system to get this team better shots than they've bricked the last few games. You just can't win NBA games when you have 3 or 4 guys on the court at a time who can't hit completely wide open 3s and really just one guy who can consistently score off the dribble. Also, the Warriors have like the worst offense in the league when Steph isn't on the floor.
Dillon was a good role player. I get he is having a good season, but you guys really need to stop being so down on the team. Sure we aren't championship contenders, but we weren't with Dillon either, so get over him already lol.
You’re correct, but playing with no pg at all makes things harder. With kd’s gravity, if you add fvv or any other reasonable pg that handles the ball, we can do much much better than previous year. Having KD instead of jg as your leading scorer is a big advantage which we can’t fully utilise with no pure pg.
Ime takes blame in this. He's close and personal with the team.. in the locker room.. within games. HE should have known how important Dillion was to the team, tangible and intangible. .
Lelz, I am genuinely glad for him, that was a good season he has been having, after Stone never told him in advance, a total shock trade. I still remember like it was yesterday, posters claiming with Durant you automatically win 10+ Games. Turns out, those games are not even fun when he wins them for you.
