You hate him everyone knows it...you are biased, he was the reason we had a 13 point lead in the first place.....Reed isn't perfect but he does have the most important skill - shooting, and he will only get better.

His D is not traditional but his steals and blocks prove he is playing D.....

KD isn’t the issue. The pieces don’t match. If Amen could shoot 3s we wouldn’t be having this conversation. Amen really limits this team offensively. Then you have Sheppard making silly mistakes as an inexperienced player. Compile this with no pg and evey player is forcing the ball to KD resulting in multiple TO’s a game.

Trade Amen Sheppard and DFS. Get a star level or potential star player that can shoot and drive.

Sharpe signed for way less than what Tari was allegedly offered. Both are walking glass figures ready to break. Both make their team way better when healthy but are always hurt.

I consider last year to be a redshirt for Reed. But Amen is not improving - his FG%, 3pt%, and TS% are all down from last year. It's a make-or-miss league. I would like to offload him for something good while he still has perceived value.

    Is Jabari becoming Ryan Anderson?

Sheppard has shot around 32% from 3 last 10 games prior to this one.

    Jabari 0-10, Amen 0-3, Finney-Smith 1-7, Okogie 0-2

    1-22 from three. Ball game.

Capela 11 minutes of damn near nothing. Tari has more health problems than Kevin Durant has points. They played trap and scramble defense to get the ball away from Avdija first half, they start making it happen in the 3rd, Tari goes down, nobody takes his place in the rotation, legs are gassed, shots are ugly misses.

    We need some home cooking.

I know that KD is not the issue, but this team as constructed is not a contender. It's better for us to reset our timeline and trade away the players that don't fit into our future (KD, Bari, DFS, etc)

I think how we use Amen is a failure of coaching.

We can't have him out there with Adams and other non-shooters. Until he can prove he can shoot, we need to have Westbrook lineups for him, that's how you have to treat him.

For him to shoot like he does he's off ball WAY TOO F'N much, him standing beyond the three point line does nothing. Portland just plays zone and ah well, there goes the offense.

When Amen is aggressive and playing downhill, things work out, but man these lineups with Amen are rough sometime.

It works with Alpi since he can cut and get easy buckets but with Capela and Adams...its just ugly.

We are losing close games to a good Portland team while some of our players are shooting like 15% LOL. OKC got blown out by Utah.

As bad as we played, there are some things to consider. Portland has been on a tear and we are missing our best player.

Just saying, and Bari shooting was laughably pathetic tonight and a few others players had bad games.

I hate to say it after this terrible game…. But it’s still not all doom and gloom lol. I still think we’ll be ok.

Even KD is getting tired of Jabari's bullshit

Think that's like the 10th time this season this comment is warranted.

Ime sure does love being bent over by competent coaches.

That stupid foul by Jabari was arguably worse than his bricked shots. We were down only one. If we force the miss and get the rebound, we can take the lead. Instead the Rockets go down 4(because Portland actually made their free throws unlike our guys) and they never recovered.

I agree KD and Okogie played good, not Reed. He had a good quarter but so did Jabari, Amen and others.

Reed is a problem and not in a good way. He was a #3 pick!! He is not a starter and doesn't deserve to be, he is a defensive liabilty, does not have a true position (HE IS NOT A PG AND HE'S TOO SHORT TO BE A SG).

So, all he is, is a 15 min guy off the bench who comes in and hit a few 3's?? That's spells a draft bust for a #3 pick

    Don't waste your time.

Toyota Centre is a subpar experience compared to other arenas.

I don't even go to Houston anymore to see the Rockets.

that doesn’t make sense. Restarting? I say they need to trade away guys that aren’t the pieces to a championship. Amen is a piece to a championship but not as a starter. Reed is too inexperienced and simply isn’t that good. DFS we can do without his contract.

If we can get Giannis i think we make that sengun trade if we can’t get a guard. Giannis makes this team better. But you would still have an Amen issue unless he’s part of the deal as well.
