tbh I would go small and even entertain putting Holliday out there or even dfs. The guy had zero confidence offensively and defensively toward the end of the game. Ime imposes short leashes on certain players but some players are untouchable

Lean more into Reed??? DD are you hungry, light headed and just delusional right now? Dude Reed is a large part of the problem. He is not consistent, he can't get his own shot and as you see....he doesn’t play DEFENSE

It’s always “just something “ LOL. Just like AD it’s just “this or that”. But at some point the player is injury prone and at a much higher injury risk compared to other players who don’t always have “oh it’s just this thing”. No one is paying Tari huge money

It's not a ridiculous Idea. I think I'd rather try and flip Bari and Tari though and see if we can actually get someone who can shoot in here, and give the KD thing a real shot.

When teams run a zone, you need a guy to flash to the FT line that is a triple threat.

It is not Rocket science it is easy, a LUIS SCOLA type would make this team sing.

We do have someone on the bench that can fit that role....in Jeff Green......he is much better at closing that Jabari who can't dribble and is eratic as a shooter.

You play Jeff in the 4th and these 4th quarter collapses go away.

Totally agree. I think the mistake was allowing that loss in the playoffs to GS screw up our timeline. We were right there with a fun and motivated team. Yeah we got unlucky and ran into GS but any other opponent we make it well into the WCF. **** the warriors

The Rockets made a trade and it's not working. I said they should have left the team AS IS.

Only Reed, Okogie, and KD had a positive plus-minus tonight.

    I don't think it's a knee jerk.

I do think we'd look A LOT better with Fred. He's a PG, Fred's not watching anyone brick after brick, he would have just not passed Bari the ball until he got his head on straight. We've seen Fred deny shooters plenty of times, sometimes you have to stop someone for their own good.

The risk with the trade though was that in the end. If FVV ain't what he used to be or if KD falls off next year due to age, he's going to be 38 lol...then what?

Sengun is a keeper, 100%, but the rest of the guys still have to prove they can contribute like stars?

All of these guys really flash here and there then dwindle. Whether it's Amen, Reed, Bari, or Tari who gets hurt every month it feels like. They all have their moments then just....

Sengun is the one that consistently plays like a star player at least.

At least with Reed it's only his 2nd year. The good thing for the Rockets is most players are not at their best until they are 25-27...

But the window was with FVV at PG. That's kind of ruined now. It's why I favor a trade for Harden this year. The window with KD is 3 years at most, we're lucky we get this KD for any amount of time.

this is why i believe we should pull that trigger. Get him Sheppard and DFS out. Get a star guard.

We would have been better off playing 4 on 5 than having Jabari out there in the 4th.

How did Udoka not see him giving the game away??

Without Alpi I agree. Amen can't pass himself the ball when he's in the dunker role without Alpi. None of these guys can pass the ball except Alpi and Amen. With that said why was Amen off the ball so much in the 4th. Bad coaching.

I read Durant slammed a gatorade on the bench after Bari forced a 3 pointer and bricked badly. Anyone got a clip?

False. This is a team playing without its second (Sengun) and third (VanVleet) best players. Also, Amen and Bari aren't getting better. Further, Tari can't stay healthy. None of those things have anything to do with the KD trade.

Yes, Jabari SUCKED! But so did Reed. Reed is not consistent and he can not get his own shot....THATS HUGE!

I was willing to give this a chance but I think Stone messed up with trading for Durant or giving up what he did. This team needs a player off the bench who can get buckets....CAM WHITMORE

The good thing is no matter what happens this season the Rockets are flexible. They are not the Clippers, they have flexibility to make a big move.
