I'm done with Ime officially. Only way he can regain my trust is if he manages to bring us back at least to the NBA Finals and I'm willing to bet towards the tip jar that it ain't happening
The Rockets not doing anything like that because then they will have to run their organization like professionals instead of like a AAU team. Ime is an assistant coach at best, he’s not a head coach. We’ve allowed Ime to sabotage our draft picks’ confidence(traded 2 of them, one of them got traded for nothing because he wouldn’t allow Ime to sabotage his career), he also prevented us from signing James Harden and instead signed a garden gnome to a even bigger contract. Then proceed to double down with said Garden Gnome this past offseason and now they are facing karma for the incompetence. Hopefully someone gets fired soon. I want Stone and Ime gone. At some point, you can't just say it's the players or injuries or guys missing shots. The same thing keeps happening. This is the 3rd double digit 4th quarter lead they've blown to a vastly inferior Western Conference opponent in the last 3 weeks after the previous collapses to the Pelicans and Kings. Ime doesn't seem to have a clue how to get these guys to execute in the 4th. He makes no adjustments, he lets the same players keep bricking the same shots and making the same careless turnovers, and his specialty which is supposed to be defense goes AWOL in crunch time.
Ime and Stone preached in regard to Green that this franchise expects growth. I have seen no growth from Ime at all. On a side note, what happened to the Terror Twins? They haven't terrorized anybody all season. What happened to the full court pressure? It's almost as if they know that offense gets you paid, but I prefer them both last year when they were 2-way players.
